Who in their right mind would want to be a delivery driver to bring them their online goods? You know they would be robbed, assaulted, highjacked on a regular basis. They should do as others said, just wall it off. Maybe air drop supplies in or not. Knowing the mindset of the citizens they would try to shoot the delivery planes out of the sky like they do with firefighters responding to fires who get fired on. Insanity! I feel bad for the few good people stuck there. They better flee and flee fast.

In Portland, many liberals are dodging stray bullets, losing catalytic converters to thieves, and sidestepping tents. Then they open their tax bills.

A record 101 homicides occurred in Portland last year, up from previous records of 92 in 2021 and 70 in 1987.

Thieves stole 11,000 cars in 2022, up from 9,000 a year before.

The city says there are some 800 camps.

In December, the state said activists had gathered enough signatures to put a measure on Multnomah County’s May 2023 ballot that would levy a 0.75% tax on capital gains to hire attorneys for tenants facing eviction. I'm a bit confused as to why eviction hearings require legal representation. Eviction occurs when one does not pay rent.

This is not due to Portland crime. All the locations were upscale areas, and Bend 150 miles away. Cracker Barrel quality down, prices up. Medford will close soon, horrible food from the day it opened 5 years ago.

Cracker Barrel treats employees like crap. The whole theme is a facade.

Other companies need to follow suit. The quicker the better. Portland needs to be taught a very hard lesson.

The FSA is now venturing into the suburbs to commit their mayhem since many urban establishments have already closed. The local patrons soon realize it's not safe to eat there anymore so this affects business even moreso than the declining quality which you describe.

If it were merely a quality issue I have to think they would have closed years ago.

Tualatin, Beaverton, AND BEND, are not Portland.

Bend Oregon location is no where near Portland and is in a nice new shopping area.

Cracker Barrel is going downhill, and west coast people dont have tradition taking them back regardless of quality.

The Medford location, still open, has been empty for years after a couple months of it's opening surge.

I've been to a lot of Cracker Barrels around the country. Medfords is the worst food I've ever had at one. Bends was fine, same with Tualatin which is right next to a Cabelas.

Have you been to any of these Cracker Barrels?

Cracker Barrels suck on the West Coast, There is no local tradition bring people back in large enough numbers.

I am amazed they didnt close Medford as well, probably next month. It has been a loser from opening day.

I am from the West Coast but never ate at one until I moved to the East Coast where I have been to one and was actually quite impressed for what it is. (Small town, mainly older patrons.

Portland restaurants have gone downhill since Yaw's Top Notch burgers closed, so yes, I am familiar with restaurants there.
