The media excoriated Trump over mentioning it. Of course if there was a treatment they wouldn’t need an EUA for the mix and match injections.

This is an article that talks about chloroquine and zinc to kill cancer cells. HCQ and CQ (and other chemicals) are zinc ionophores. Zinc is the key. It prevents virii and cancer cells from replicating, allowing to immune system to ramp up and eliminate them. HCQ, CQ allow zinc to pass through the cell walls to do this. That's what zinc ionophore means. It allows zinc to get to where it's needed.

The lack of cell fusion as an entry mechanism by Omicron is documented in the preprint..Page 17:
Omicron spike has switched entry route preference

The other known mechanism of entry (endocytosis) is shown to be used much better by Omicron. (aside: This explains the lower involvement of the lungs in Omicron infections..).

BUT most importantly, the endocytosis route has blockers that can be considered for use.. "Cathepsin blockers".

This paper is older; from when Sars-COV-2 was using the TMPRSS2+Furin Cleavage Site, as well as endocytosis.
