Jesus said the second greatest commandment is love your neighbor, and that law isn't in the 10 commandments. It's in the Torah. Quoting: Obedience_Proves_Faith That's because the body of Christ is Israel. Still here defending the Old Testament law and butchering scripture I see. Pride is one of if not the most detestable of all sins in God’s eyes and is what caused Lucifer to be cast out of Heaven. And also, the body of Christ composes of all who believe in Christ. You’re an embarrassment to the truth. yet we know that a person is not justified by works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, so we also have believed in Christ Jesus, in order to be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the law, because by works of the law no one will be justified. Galatians 2:16 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us Galatians 3:13 all who have sinned under the law will be judged by the law. Romans 2:12 Time to come out from under the law and wake up, not doing so deems Christ’s sacrifice for you invalid in God’s eyes and therefore you will not make Heaven nor have eternal life. Your incompetence of scripture and the gospel in general is ridiculous. For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation, having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace, and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity. And He came and preached peace to you who were afar off and to those who were near. For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father. Christ Our Cornerstone Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit. Ephesians 2:14-22 Stop butchering the truth of the sacrifice that Jesus made for us all and what He alone delivered us from which is the law you ignorantly and openly cling so close to as did the Pharisees of Jesus’ day did. You profane God’s Holy Word through vain, prideful, and severe misinterpretation. I know you will respond to this with more misinterpretation as the truth is far from you and your cup is overflowing with pride but truly, repent. You’re in grave error. |

Exo 20:17 Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's. And here's the second greatest commandment: Lev 19:18 Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am Yahweh. And how exactly is that different from what Yeshua said? (the bolded part) It's not different. It's also not in the ten commandments. Neither is the great commandment: Deu 6:5 And thou shalt love Yahweh thy Elohim with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. so what does this mean |

Exo 20:4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: Exo 20:5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I Yahweh thy Elohim am a jealous El, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; Exo 20:6 And showing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments. Exo 20:7 Thou shalt not take the name of Yahweh thy Elohim in vain; for Yahweh will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain. Exo 20:8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. I agree, there's no club. He may have died for all, but not all have accepted his free gift. If we do accept it, then we meet the conditions and become heirs to the promise/spiritual descendants of a family line...as has been quoted directly from Scripture multiple times in this thread. If we don't accept it, well those folks will be judged by their works. Rev 20:13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and the grave delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 83196649 United States 03/30/2023 01:13 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Why did Jesus send Paul? When exactly did the Body of Christ begin? What are the "times of the gentiles"? What is the "fullness of the Gentiles"? Did you know the gentiles were considered DIRT and could not even be saved unless they converted to Israel and lived with Israel before Christ? Jesus Himself said He only came for the Lost Sheep There was no plan of Salvaion for the Gentiles before Paul.... Israel plan for Salvation Put on hold, Gentiles plan for Salvation begins Romans 11:25 “For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.” Salvation offered to Gentiles to provoke Israel to jealousy Romans 11:11 - 13 11 I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy. 12 Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness? 13 For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office: Paul 1st in Body of Christ, is our pattern (can it be any clearer?) 1 Tim 1:15, 16 15 This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief. 16 Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting. Who did Jesus come for? Matthew 15:24 24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel. Old Testament Salvation (not by grace alone) Ezekiel 3:20 “Again, when a righteous man turns away from his righteousness and commits iniquity, and I place an obstacle before him, he will die; since you have not warned him, he shall die in his sin, and his righteous deeds which he has done shall not be remembered; but his blood I will require at your hand.” The "fullness of the Gentiles" is the window of opportunity for Gentiles to be saved by grace alone. It end when the Trib begins. *That is why there is a pretrib Rapture!* The Trib is speciically for Israel (Danieel 9:24-27)! When the Trib begins, Israels plan for Salvation and the Law is back in effect. NO MORE Grace alone. |

They are 2 separate doctrines. Hogwash. Actually Paul tells us it is the Gentiles who aren't under grace because Gentiles aren't yet part of the church, which is most definitely Israel. When a Gentile accepts the gospel and asserts their faith in Christ, their old self dies and they convert to become a follower of Christ the King of Israel. Their citizenship changes to Israel. There are numerous examples of how this process works throughout Scripture. If you remember the whole circumcision of the heart thing, it is not Gentiles who are circumcised... Eph 4:17 Now this I say and testify in the Lord, that you must no longer walk as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their minds. Eph 4:18 They are darkened in their understanding, alienated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them, due to their hardness of heart. Eph 4:19 They have become callous and have given themselves up to sensuality, greedy to practice every kind of impurity. Eph 4:20 But that is not the way you learned Christ!— 1Th 4:3 For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you abstain from sexual immorality; 1Th 4:4 that each one of you know how to control his own body in holiness and honor, 1Th 4:5 not in the passion of lust like the Gentiles who do not know God; If you are a follower of the true Christ then you are a citizen of Israel. There are no pearly gates for Gentiles to get into the New Jerusalem in Revelation 21. Only 12 gates for those who are citizens of the 12 tribes of Israel. Rev 14:12 Here is a call for the endurance of the saints, those who keep the commandments of God and their faith in Jesus. |
