He was a Phd engineer and made big money, but he loved to stay very busy. He had a dozen projects going at his house all the time, but made time to help others for free. My friend passed from cancer a few years back, but I and many others will always miss him. |

All of my neighbors are well older than me but the life lessons they bestow upon me are priceless. I like listening to their stories. Their minds are sharp, their bodies frail, but the spirit to be a good citizen runs through their veins like a raging river. Nice to be surrounded by such great souls. Oh I forgot, I fix a lot of TV remotes hahha I did maintenance for an assisted living facility for about 8 months when I was in my twenties. Fixed a lot of tv remotes and digital clocks. I eventually learned that my trusty swiss army knife could slice off certain "unneeded" buttons on the remote so they couldn't be accidentally pressed. |

He saw the buckets and pans catching water and he said he couldnt sleep knowing my roofs leaking he had his business here a couple hours later a whole crew in 5 hours they were done it was amazing it woulda cost me 25000 he said i nearly fainted Got it, you're lucky he's your neighbor. People in those areas know to look out for each other. He probably knew an elderly couple lived there and that dude might appreciate a new friend to check in on him from time to time after his wife passed. |
