Old farts are pretty cool people if you get a moment to connect with them. All of my neighbors are well older than me but the life lessons they bestow upon me are priceless. I like listening to their stories. Their minds are sharp, their bodies frail, but the spirit to be a good citizen runs through their veins like a raging river. I live in an apt building and I'm always interacting with my old neighbors. 2 have passed since I've lived here. They give me words of wisdom, cash, real silverware, books, lamps, old bottles. I clean their windows and flip mattresses and bring my can downstairs for them to pet and visit with. It don't mind it. It's nice to talk to them and try to match their pace for a change. Oh I forgot, I fix a lot of TV remotes hahha
