I was hospitalized for 8 days with COVID. I have a paralyzed phrenic nerve on one side through the ordeal.

Admitted to the hospital with a blood oxygen level of 74, about a week after I tested positive.

The delay probably saved my life, because the hospital couldn't put me on one of their treatment protocols.

As I sat in the ER bed, I had an ER doctor come in in a negative-pressure suit and tell me within the first couple minutes of seeing me--- "You're not vaccinated? You know that's why you're in here."

About 15 minutes after he left, another one of his cohorts came in and basically said the same thing-- then, as she was leaving, she said "when you get out of here, make sure you get vaccinated."
