Has everyone noticed more and more people are getting sober? (AKA getting their had clear)

Yes. My husband of 34 years, recently quit drinking after 25 years of alcohol abuse.

Me too, I’ve dropped 30lbs removed all processed foods inc sugar from diet zero alcohol and weed, been 7 weeks now and don’t miss or want any of it, had smoked for near on 20 years and drank most days (not excessively)feeling great also. More clarity and focus than I’ve had in 10 years. Not just me either guys I know at work have followed.

Im biased because I’m currently in a treatment center all day 6 days a week so yes lol.

I don't think they are waking up, what you're seeing is that everyone is poorer, so they can't do all the fucked up shit they usually do.

Yes, one of the reasons I smoked was to suppress my dreams. I have PTSD and it helped me with that when I needed it most I’m not one for taking prescribed meds.

Interesting, I'm severely cutting back and in the midst of my longest stint of sobriety, other than a few forced scenarios, in years.

Yeah, I made a complete ass of myself at a wedding in December...had to quit.

Oh yes and I feel just great both in mind and body. Being sober is like playing life in easy mode.

I can only speak for myself but modern beer sucks. It's all fruity and sour. They have lucky charms beer and beer made from whale balls. Regular beer has been reformulated like Coors and Sam Adams. And now AI is coming up with recipes. So much for classically trained brew masters.

Can't afford the booze. $30 for a 4 pack that has less than 6 percent alcohol, no joy in that swill. Can't get a buzz off that. Rather have nothing at all.

Drank beer everyday and smoked marijuana for well... About 18 yrs. Of never being sober. Quit it all on October 23 22. Interesting.

Perhaps it's a money thing. But I've seen addiction at it's worst. Many times. These people will sell it all for the next fix.

In my case, I make enough money to afford marijuana and beer whenever I wanted it. Money was not my motivation.

I decided that Jesus Christ is my Lord. My savior. I have received the help of the Holy Spirit and desire these things no longer.

But I suppose there are different reasons for everyone! : )

I'm down to 1.5mg on the nicotine juice right now, nearly there. Halved the amounts each time I opened a new bottle after picking the habit back up in October.

I've quit it before and I'll quit it again. Titration works wonders.

Today is day 2 without alcohol for my husband and I. We both felt strongly it's time to put it down.

Good for him! I’m 64 days sober! It’s possible!

Yea I quit drinking and smoking weed. Worst thing I do now is caffeine. My head is clearing but not because I think something is coming, I’m just sick of being content with mundane circumstances. I want my motivation and ambition back.

I’m about 100 times more bitchy though, hopefully that fades

For me I got the word from the Lord that the wait and the weight is over. I've stayed on the carnivore diet consistently and returned to the gym for several workouts per week. This is indeed a time of preparation, the calm before the storm. Use the time wisely.

I suppose that once you realize that your own government is willing to commit genocide and wants you dead, it's kind of a rude awakening and should cause people to realize that lethargy and just going with the flow will get you killed.
And that most all of the "experts" people believed are liars and genocidal sociopaths if not outright psychopaths.
