I know two people brought back from death's door via hefty doses of vitamin c, along with some hydrocortisone... the thiamine was new to me, but I expect it helps, too.

That vit c is inexpensive seems to be the only drawback as far as I know. Not many people are aware of basic vitamin science these days, and especially how much sufficient -or large- doses of vit c can actually cure.

Try demanding it asap.

I had severe sepsis and double pneumonia and spent two weeks in the hospital. Oxygen heprain and antibiotics, full specturm.

Prayers sent. I think she will be ok, I had it so bad about 6 months after a surgery that it actually got inside a bone and swelled it so much it almost fractures it. Very hard to get infection out of bone. But even after all that 3 weeks hospital 2 weeks every other day outpatient iv antibiotics. I missed all the warning signs until it got so bad I couldn't even change gears in my car, from pain, thought I tore my rotator, then a fever so bad I got delirious. Was completely out of this universe for 2 days.

What are her symptoms? Any fever or pain? If you don't mind me asking. If you have any questions just ask, if you want I can pull up MyChart online and see what antibiotics they gave me. I know the outpatient one was very expensive but it worked really good.
