What was your favorite commodore 64 game?

Yes the games back then did not stress the optic nerves that much, it impacted the imagination and stimulated it much like books do.

In terms of those that I played the most: Bard's Tale 3, Olympic games, Loderunner, Mission Impossible.. hmm.. one was a cartridge, a sort of gauntlet like game.. hmm

Oh yes I remember that raid over Moscow too, I played that fairly often as well

What’s funny about games back then - I look at them now and I’m like - ‘I don’t remember the graphics looking so blocky.’ ‘Did they really look that bad?’ .. because you think back and you remember much better graphics.

Either the CRT tube made it look better (which I think is partially true) but also your imagination as a kid made it look much better.

Defender of the Crown gameplay was best on C64.

I thought it looked much better on Commodore 64. I played both.
