If you said that the
government was wiretapping your phone
in 1999, everybody would have called you a nutjob.

Now if you say that the government is wiretapping
your phone, no one cares.

How can Americans sleep at night now or look in
a mirror without feeling disgusted and ashamed?

The "Patriot Act" .... Throw the Constitution and Privacy into the toilet so that "The Government" can "Protect Us".

Most here were CHEERING Dick Cheney and GW Bush when they got rid of our privacy from the government, created the Dept of Homeland Security, and made the government ALL INTRUSIVE by pushing SECRET Courts and SECRET Search Warrants.

If not for so called "Conservative" Republicans the Patriot Act, which threw many of our Constitutional Liberties under the bus, would never have come to exist.

The Trump administration delivered a letter to Congress in August 2019 urging them to make permanent three surveillance provisions of the Patriot Act. The provisions included section 215, which enables domestic call-record collection as well as the collection of other types of business records.

Patriots who having
been spreading freedom for years
feel like they have been punched in the
face when Americans praise the police state.
