I know historically that I never worked at this place, but I feel like I did work there. The bar I feel like it is real and I was there...but again I can't figure out where this park could have been in that part of town. It is a very unsettling feeling because these seem like every other memory I have. but they are not from this reality. |

Sometimes i have dreamed these dreams several times. Other times, a dream comes with a history of its own. I guess, around that time period, you might have experienced similar dreams. Some of the things that seem so vivid might have been things you saw in a different context and they became part of your dream. Such as the bar might exist, but not in the place you recall. You went there with your friend, maybe he drove, and it was farther away than you remember. but your dream relocated the bar to a location more familiar to you. I have done that in my own dreams, put a real thing in a different location. But, I figured out later what my subconscious did. |

He was in the room too, so I started by excusing myself for retelling his joke, but I thought it was so funny my wife should hear it too. When I had told the joke, both my wife and my son laughed, and he assured me that he had never heard the joke before. It is clear I dreamed he told me this joke. This kind of thing happens all the time. Everything we experience in a dream is just as real to our minds as waking life. Most of the time we forget our dreams, and that's not a bug, it's a feature! Because when we do remember our dream experiences we get this kind of jumbled memories and lose track of what was real and what wasn't. One avid lucid dreamer advised anyone that wants to do lucid dreaming to only dream about people you don't know IRL, just to avoid the awkwardness of ascribing false memories to family and friends. YOU: "Remember when we were on vacation in Turkey and went scuba diving, that was a great time!" FRIEND: "WTF are you talking about, I've never done scuba diving, and I've never been to Turkey, with or without you!" Awkward. Lazy Monk |

I've experienced living a parallel life with a very peculiar career working for a classified military program that dealt with paranormal science. My role specifically, was discovering a way to clean the minds of people who had been subjected to supposedly "irreversible" methods of brainwashing as well as any deals/connections they had made with extradimensional entities (demons). This involved separating the higher and lower brain functions, copying the higher functioning patterns onto a computer linked to the brain by a neural interface, and then destroying the biological basis of that information. In brainwashing, this is simpler and only requires a massive controlled electromagnetic induced seizure of the target areas. The subject would be dependent on both biological/computer components to exist without impairment until we could filter and reconstruct the higher brain functions in newly grown tissues. We were using fetal stem cell biocomputers and/or partial new brain implantation. Some subjects required a wheelchair due to specific motor impairments as side effect. I remember someone using the term "Neural Heterodyning". I was being a big asshole to one of the test subjects and laughed at him for now having the (biological) brain capacity of a nematode after the procedure. That subject was once my superior project manager (also an asshole), but had crossed one of the higher-ups and been reassigned as a guinea pig to serve as a warning to everyone else. I helped build a Goetiaic computer that literally used demons as software. The demons we removed and trapped from the Neural Heterodyning process were able to be held within a quantum computer and made into "daemon" programs on the device. It gave us incredible processing power using multiple internal realities in parallel. We wanted to see if this could be done without the danger of using demons by recruiting mental space from simultaneous alternate human selves - essentially posessing people with alterate universe versions of themselves to create a multi-core spiritual OS. We also were studying whether simulating a copy of someone's DNA would allow for entanglement to trap/manipulate a specific consciousness in silicon.
