Reminds me of the original Batman with Micheal Keaton. When Joker has all the big balloons and is playing Prince and showering the streets with money. Then he starts gassing everyone. WHAT IS THAT THING SPRAYING?!?!?

It looks to be moving far too fast to be an aircraft but it's hard to be sure.

It could just be the perspective.

If it were an explosion, I would expect to see a little cloud at the point where the explosion happened but that's not here.

If that balloon thinks he's heading into anywhere in the eastern US, it's very, very mistaken with these direct North Eastern winds.

Who says it doesn't have propulsion? It's got enormous solar panels and is above the clouds so good power...the tech exists in China to have these things deploy robots that setup an automated base and use metalstorm + iron dome to run security, all without risking a man. Those robots could commandeer the local auto zone for batteries and parts...maybe not today, but it's coming.
