When they are ready to fully switch over to the petro-yuan, it will be a Sunday night dump and it will crater the dollars value globally. The USD will become toilet paper as countries dump their dollar reserves, and all that money supply will only have one place it will be accepted (US and Fed-friendly countries).

If you think the trade deficit is bad now, just imagine when US treasuries are no longer accepted as payment for foreign trade, and the US will have no choice but to balance trade with real commodities (and sell anything not nailed down) leading to massive supply problems/shortages domestically.

Saudi dropped the dollar for oil trades with China they are accepting Yuan for oil and are now building the worlds largest oil refinery in China for the Chinese. Dollar is in its death throes

The dollar spiked higher today. Look at $DXY or /DX (futures).

TLT - 20 year bond

I don't know why the dollar spiked higher, but it'd be easy to find out.
