Russia already occupies 15-20% with the 4 oblasts they have annexed so it makes perfect sense that the USA would offer up those territories because they are lost forever anyways. Like the USA was doing Russia a big favor.

Russia will likely also wind up taking fiendly Odessa, Mikolaev, Dneipropetrovsk, and Kharkov oblasts roughly taking around 40% of the country in total.

I don't think they want any more than that of that shitshow country. The rest of it is a bunch of ultranationaist ess ess people living in a made up fantasy history and identity. Russia wants none of that problem.
