The guy makes some good points. Not holding the door for someone is a bit much IMO. I hold the door for the person behind me no matter their gender. To My surprise (I'm Old) often young people hold the door for me in my small town, in fact my general area, and I never fail to thank them.

With my skills, I feel guilty not stopping to aid other drivers (time permitting).If my wife is in my car, I rarely stop for others.
