If I recall, this is exactly what was happening in December in the UK, right before the holidays. Wonder why it would now be happening in Australia two months later?

Three people i personally know have just been hospitalized with community acquired pneumonia in Florida. The whole gamut of antibiotics have been thrown at them including Z-Pak. The hospital stay was ended before they were completely back to normal (bad productive cough and malaise). This may be a good time to avoid public transportation and dining. Masks make sense right now. All of them were vaccinated.

We had a massive outbreak of it here in England over the past 6 months so I fully believe there is hardly any healthy immune systems out there. Everyone is sick or are lethargic and hating life.

Yeah, "death within hours" of presenting symptoms of strep throat does not seem normal to me.

When I was a child I had strep throat. I recall that whenever I swallowed saliva it felt like I was swallowing glass, but that was pretty much the worst of it. I do not recall a single death at my elementary school when it was going around, and my elementary school had thousands of children.

There was no panic. It was just treated as one of those childhood viruses. Most were not even put on antibiotics until a few days after presenting symptoms. Many just rode it out. People just didn't "die within hours".

What we are seeing in Australia must be a combination of vaccine-compromised immune systems, sheltered immune systems (from lockdowns), and damaged cardiovascular systems that cannot take any kind of stress without failing.

that’s funny. as a child i suffered from strep throat for about 3-4 years, on and off throughout the year. once even got scarlett fever from it. but one day i stopped getting strep throat and haven’t gotten it since. definitely related to the vaccine lowering immunity, as well as the masks fricking up the way your immune system works. Otherwise it shouldn’t be a problem, really.
