I think there was a long thread about it a while back.....when I was young, I use to see red geometric patterns form in the darkness....they were like Spirograph patterns that morphed and changed continuously....I liked them waaaaay more than seeing shadow entities.....

That's how it starts for me, focusing on the shapes causes them to rise and enlarge. Then they envelope my mind and I seem to fall in.

Yes and I’ve had it waking up too. It’s closer to my face though, more like 1 foot away and has several “feeds” in a circular zone. I don’t consciously understand it but figure it’s a data upload or wetware update

My bedroom is pitch black at night, no windows, power indicator lights on, just pure darkness.

Because of the darkness, I often will lie on my back and just do slow relaxing breathing and open my eyes just before I fall asleep. About 1 to 3 times a week, when doing this, images will light up about 5 ft from my eyes, almost like a low glow of a tv screen, and I will then in that glow see complex mathematical formulas, or scenes from somewhere around the world, it’s like watching a video. Years past, it used to alway be just old peoples faces, but distorted faces like peasant faces in medieval times, the faces shifting to different ones, women, men, almost looked like they were made of greyish smoke.

Strange stuff.

Anyone else have this happen?

It's because your third eye opens up after sitting in the dark.

Once you learn more about it you can invoke this vision at anytime to learn secrets about just about anything.

Interesting, when I see scenes from around the world, it feels like I am actually ,
How can I describe this… not spying on people, but more like seeing it while being right there but everyone is oblivious to me, invisible.
 Quoting: LTHN.

i do this too....not on purpose and not at will.
once as i was going to sleep, the place just appeared (in my mind, clear as water)
i found myself on a dark highway where a trooper was sitting in his car.there were faint lights inside his car.
idk what he was doing but i knew he was there, awake and alive.
it was a man.never saw him though.
i stood behind his car and didnt understand why i was even there.
it was just so strange.
suddenly im back in bed going further down into sleep.

Lets take this up..or left a notch.

Do you also hear between 2-5AM what sounds like two men sitting at monitors in an adjacent hard surfaced room, quietly discussing what they are observing on the monitor?

Yes they are called hypnagogic hallucinations, I get them sometime and they are usually iridescent birds or peoples faces that I have never met. I love them.

Re: Does this happen to anyone else just before falling asleep?
ive found that it makes a difference where you FOCUS your vision at as you drift off.

different places in your focus do different things, take you different places.

there is up close focus (i see faces in this area)
and farther off focus...(i go places if i look there)
it is just a point where you watch behind your closed eyes.

^if you can find the TINY black spot which we all supposedly have, that tiny black spot takes you OUT of the solar system, something like that.to the edge...

that spot is normally GUARDED so if you DO make it through that hole the guard will stop you from leaving/

Yes, if you focus on it instead of just observing it, you go into what I would think of as a lucid dream state. It might not actually be that, but some sort of astral projection, but I don't really know, it is very strange and messes you up for a while the next day or days, depending. I remember hearing an Art Bell show that talked about this exact thing back in the 90s, and that is what prompted me to try it.

The whole being able to see the room in perfect detail with eyes closed is really weird. Doesn’t happen all the time but when it does you can be totally aware of it and it persists.

Also this stopped happening and hasn’t happened in at least 15 years. But I used to every night hear this incredible music right before I fell asleep. Only if I didn’t fall asleep but woke back up would I realize I was hearing it.

I see complex geometry but it is a rare and I can’t make it happen. Maybe five or so times in my life. They are all connected and move like gears.

Same, when I was younger (the geometric patterns)

Now I see more detailed objects or scenes. Right before 1/6 I saw the ceiling of the Capitol building, as if I were laying on the floor looking up. It seemed to tell me someone would be murdered there

When I was a small child, just before sleeping, I would see outlines of structures, like I was in a room surrounded by machinery, or within a machine itself. The atmosphere was always permeated with a uniform, LED-like static pattern. The pattern was always the same, as was the machinery. I always had a sense that I was seeing something real that others couldn't, only because they weren't supposed to see it.

I've seen the faces before. At first, it just happened randomly, but now I have to try and make it happen. I tell them I'm open to receive and invite them to come. Not always, but sometimes it works. I get the feeling they want to convey some kind of message to me, but I've never figured it out.

Yea, something like that.

Pitch black bedroom and it looks like headlights of a car turning in my driveway.
