Does this happen to anyone else just before falling asleep?
My bedroom is pitch black at night, no windows, power indicator lights on, just pure darkness.

Because of the darkness, I often will lie on my back and just do slow relaxing breathing and open my eyes just before I fall asleep. About 1 to 3 times a week, when doing this, images will light up about 5 ft from my eyes, almost like a low glow of a tv screen, and I will then in that glow see complex mathematical formulas, or scenes from somewhere around the world, it’s like watching a video. Years past, it used to alway be just old peoples faces, but distorted faces like peasant faces in medieval times, the faces shifting to different ones, women, men, almost looked like they were made of greyish smoke.

Strange stuff.

Anyone else have this happen?

It's because your third eye opens up after sitting in the dark.

Once you learn more about it you can invoke this vision at anytime to learn secrets about just about anything.

Yes, if you focus on it instead of just observing it, you go into what I would think of as a lucid dream state. It might not actually be that, but some sort of astral projection, but I don't really know, it is very strange and messes you up for a while the next day or days, depending. I remember hearing an Art Bell show that talked about this exact thing back in the 90s, and that is what prompted me to try it.

Interesting, when I see scenes from around the world, it feels like I am actually ,
How can I describe this… not spying on people, but more like seeing it while being right there but everyone is oblivious to me, invisible.

Very cool.

Those images I see, I can see them with my eyes open, close them and still see them, but I prefer watching with open eyes.

Re: Does this happen to anyone else just before falling asleep?
I had some type of intense visual experience once.

I "remote viewed" something like an advanced endolith lifeform that lived inside a rock deep underground. It was immersed in black goo and it connected to the Earth in several ways.

Maybe it lives on chemicals and telluric currents in the soil. I got very dark vibes and it projected a visual that my brain could interpret. Basically it was sentient and knew everything about what happens on the surface. Archon/demon/energy vampire?

Who knows... maybe I was reading too much GLP before bedtime

I guess it would gradually mess you up less the more often you got accustomed to doing it.

Yes and I’ve had it waking up too. It’s closer to my face though, more like 1 foot away and has several “feeds” in a circular zone. I don’t consciously understand it but figure it’s a data upload or wetware update

Seeing that when waking up is very rare for that to happen to me.
I like how you described it, feeds in a circular zone.

I frequently see scenes of a city downtown area as though I am seated on the roof of a bus.

I think there was a long thread about it a while back.....when I was young, I use to see red geometric patterns form in the darkness....they were like Spirograph patterns that morphed and changed continuously....I liked them waaaaay more than seeing shadow entities.....
