The money is made by having a long war just like the money is made by having a long pandemic. Doesn't matter if they win. In fact they don't even care if they win. They just want it to last as long as possible.

Well, numbers are tricky.


The U.S. is SPENDING roughly 10% of the budget on ACTUAL DEFENSE. The other 90% are wages, pensions, kickbacks, hugely overvalued projects and various expenses, foreign help, etc. etc.


Russia is spending roughly 60% on ACTUAL DEFENSE, and 40% on wages and shit.



So, basically, the U.S. is spending $80 billions on actually making ammo, weapons and hardware, and Russia is spending $50 billion.



Add the FACT that in Russia, those $50 billion actually mean like double in finished products (ammo, weapons and hardware), because wages and various expenses (like electricity, gas, primary materials, etc.) are much lower and cheaper then in the U.S., and you will understand WHY, for example, Russia is producing 3 times more missiles then the U.S., or 4 times more tanks then the U.S.
