Anybody else hoping society actually would collapse and think they would be better at surviving and thriving than society itself? I’ve never liked being a part of it. I never had a choice. Yeah things would be bad but they be more simple very quick. This society is so technical and specialized. It’s getting more and more specialized and technical all the time. You have to invest yourself more and more in it just to survive. And you have to keep up with everything all the time.

I’d rather just gather food and shelter directly. I think damn near 99% of the population would be fucked even the people that think they are preppers or multi skilled. Most people’s work and skill depends on multiple advanced technologies.
