In exchange I gave them a Hershey bar and bic razors- kinda like gramps did with the women in WW2 in Europe. I imagine half of Canadians today have American Dad's and they just don't know it.... and never will. |

I always thought they just relied on the U.S. for protection. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 71013647 We had the most feared and respected soldiers in WW2 out of every country. Guess you have zero clue how canada also trains american special ops and other allies in various training seminars. The relationshio between canada and the USA runs very deep, canada keeps a very low profile. Fuve eyes and echelon are canadian innovations, our skills are a very valuable asset to our allies. But most like to rip on canada when they should just stay in their own lane You tell em brother. These chairborne commandos have zero clue. Its obvious they never served or if they did they were in such a low position that interoperability was not in their lane. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 83728299 Canada 01/26/2023 09:29 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Yeah. “ The Leopards that the federal government is donating are among 112 currently owned by the Canadian Armed Forces, which includes 82 designed for combat.” What use is a tank not designed for combat? Parades? Engineering vehicles, tank recovery vehicles, dedicated mine rollers. Another guy who knows nothing about combat. Tank recovery is a rear position, but engineering vehicles? That is tip of the spear stuff . Sappers lead the way. You supposed to roll over the mine first then send in a mine plow? Or cross a river first then deploy a bridge layer? Stay in your lane when talking about things you know nothing about. They aren't called Combat Engineers for nothing. Key word - Combat. Infantry is a secondary role for Engineers, at least up here. |
