CORRECTION: Dumor & Producer's Pride are both Tractor Supply's store brand. TSC alternates between Nutrena & Purina Mills (Land O'Lakes) for the right to manufacture & package their store brand.

Commercial farms owned by Bill Gates appear to be the source of ingredients.

There is a lot wrong with chicken feed. I think they are very high in supplemental vitamin A and backyard chicken eggs can be overly orange. They are highly based on corn and need no additional vitamin a. They are probably filled with GMO corn and soy and probably have some level of roundup in there.

We need to get back to basics in many areas, so many toxic manufacturing procedures have infiltrated farming, clothing, household... We are being poisoned in so many ways. We need to push back on the manufacturers.

Not true. People with years of experience, they know what their hens produce and there is something in the feed.

Chicken farmers are well aware of decreased production in the Winter, you idiot.

Chickens slow down egg production due to shorter day length. Commercial production facilities and people who know this use artificial lights to extend the day length which makes them keep laying. The egg shortage at the commercial level seems to have more to do with culling massive millions of chickens bc of regulatory retardation. The lull in production of small family flocks most likely has to do with winter and people just don’t know that they slow down production in shorter day length months. If you think about it a little you start to wonder why a company that sells chicken feed would want to alter the feed such that the chickens don’t lay. Pretty soon people would catch on and stop using it, which would be bad for business.

Good old incandescent lamps work better for this then modern LEDs. Just my experience.

Lights can emit very different light spectras.

One light may not work as well as another.

It needs to stimulate the hormones in the chicken. If you miss the light frequency, you may be dissapoint.

The Sun also directly impacts chicken and duck breeding big time. I used to have a flock of ducks on a 3 acre pond.

On a cloudy day not much breeding activity. But when a bright sunny day would appear, at around 9 to 10 am it was non stop duck sex. Ducks splashing and zooming all over the place!

I don't know you people are coming off with all these high egg prices. Here in Austin Texas it's been the same. No change.

I believe this to be true. My neighbors flock seamingly quit producing eggs so we started throwing table scraps and old leftovers; they started producing again in abundance. Anyone notice their other animals, especially pets, acting strange lately as well? My cats have been losing hair, they're fighting terrible skin conditions and this is using premium Victor brand cat food that they've been eating for years without any issues until now. We supplement their diet with canned tuna in water and it helps, but the regular food issues with them has been highly suspicious with everything going on right now.

The Sun still shines a whole lot in Texas in the Winter.

Not so much in certain Northern states like Washington/Oregon, Pennsylvania, and New York.

One of the main reasons I moved to Texas. I would get so down and depressed in the Winter up North. In Texas I smile a lot from the Sun and it makes others happier in general as well. :)

Here in the UK, in less than 10 years, huge numbers of people are suffering from Irritable Bowel Syndrome or Coeliac Disease. Something is currently wrong with our food. Probably the main food ingredient is wheat.

Some years ago farmers learned that spraying wheat with Glyphosate (commonly referred to by it's Monsanto/Bayer trade name "Round-up") not only acted as a desiccant, so speeding up harvest, it also caused the plant to increase weight and protein in the grain due to the chemical going to it's root system.

Who knows?

Bill gates wants to poison the food supply for his paedo masters in tel aviv, to force people to eat insects and bugs.

One of my hens stopped laying end of december, but the other younger one born last ywar started.
So despite being winter/cold/dark I get 1 egg every 2 days which is enough for us 2 people.
No artificial light here, feed is from local farmer (just grains, no good, no soy). Tried different brands, some bio/gmo free especially for hens,but chickens won't eat it.
So it's seeds/grains, kitchen scraps (they loooooooove rice) and whatever they find in the garden throughout the day.

and they have or will use the nano crystals in food supply.
