Why give the death penalty to an innocent child, for the crime of the biological father? Punish the rapist, not the child !

IF a rape victim gets treated at the ER after a rape, the chances of pregnancy are minuscule. Even without treatment, the chance of a rape victim getting pregnant after an assault is very low. The biggest concern is definitely disease. She needs medical care no matter what, because of injuries and disease.

A woman's selectivity in choosing a mate is supposed to produce a better next generation. When a woman is raped, this selectivity is denied her and her offspring.

Carrying through with raising some SOB's demon spawn is simply wrong. That genetic line needs to die out.

I personally have a friend who became pregnant from a horrible rape and she kept her baby. That baby is now in her 30’s and has been the light of her mother’s life. They are best friends and I’m so glad she kept her baby, she is quite a joy and brought so much joy and love to other people. A blessing unto this world with this life. Seriously.

Most places that restrict abortion do not do it when a person has been raped, incest, child abuse or health issues.

I would have all abortions capped past the first trimester only. When it is comparative to a miscarriage not a chain saw massacre.

The ability to separate the trauma of the violence from the child varies strongly from person to person. And its not a case of some people being better or more caring. You wouldn't even be able to fully predict that. If 2 of your daughters was violently raped, and both became pregnant, you would not be able to predict which one was going to take 10 lifetimes to even toe into healing and would have their entire life destroyed.

And in addition to that, that may not be the same one who would take it out on the child. It may be the one who seemed to heal up faster and isn't wearing it more openly.

In her case, she was able to separate the issues and embraced the child.

I can't think of any maternal medical reasons to kill the baby.

Terminate a pregnancy, yes, like in eclampsia and pre-eclampsia.

terminating a pregnancy in that case means early delivery, which is NOT murdering it.
