God people are dumb. They’re there to eat the corpses of the losing side. And there must be a lot of bodies to attract that many crows. So depending on which side’s propaganda you believe take an informed guess.

This might sound far fetched,but could it be electronic jamming? Powerful systems like Murmansk -BN are currently working in Ukraine by Russia to scramble radios and radar. Birds could be sensitive to this. Just a random thought.

In china they had a large number of crows but most of them were dead for some reason
