If you notice it seems like every food/type industry is getting their due…as in they are each taking their turns gouging us one at a time…it’s eggs turn now…almost like it’s reparations for the pandemic loss

She's not wrong. We have just under 30 chickens and haven't gotten eggs since about the same time. I'm going to swap food and see if that helps. Our chickens have a light in their house, so saying it's the lack of light doesn't fly.

Same here (Israel), growing chickens for over 23 years, first time no eggs for 3-4 months, had a few eggs last week or so, and now nothing again, also no rains here, and I feed commercial feed, mostly grains (corn, wheat, etc) and bread, and now green grass and compost.

Try switching feed. Don't buy commerical chicken feed at all. Make a maggot bucket to feed the chickens, source clean grains.

Knock on wood, our chickens are doing well with 1/2 Payback feed and 1/2 outdoor foraging.

I thought it was just an issue with Tractor Supply feed last I heard and that was only reported by one Youtuber. Now it's a nationwide program to poison all poultry birds?????

Feeding the birds has been under way for two years and the bird population has exploded at every level. Across the nation, tons of seed has been spread out to supplement their food supply. The birds from the pigeons to ducks are huge and meaty.

The birds are a food of last resort. Protect egg bearing females and the strongest males of every species but especially birds.

Ration. Be kind to our fine feathered friends.

My chickens are laying but I don't feed them chicken food. I feed them combination of flaxseed, chia seed, homemade bread and cat food since they kept eating the cat's food. They also free range when there is no snow out.

I stopped the chicken feed when they stopped eating it and all the wild birds ate it.

I have 8 laying jems for my homestead they stopped laying for 1-2 months. They just started laying again when I supplemented their feed with rice, beans and more kitchen scraps. I have exhausted my Tractor supply feed and bought feed from a local Poultry supply house with feed from an Alabama feed mill. I am now getting 3-6 eggs/day.
