people in my family who went back from here to visit Slovakia said MANY missed the easier life under Socialism. No need to exert, just keep a low profile.

Me, I like the Don't Tread On Me idea. I'd just as soon the state (and the nation and the municipality and everything in between) completely ignore me. I can keep a low profile if I want to; I'd prefer my "leaders" keep an even lower profile.

Was stationed in Germany in '89 when the wall came down and they were pretty grateful to say the least. In 2023? I don't know,they probably didn't expect woke regards in charge and losing their country without a fight to unarmed migrant invaders.
