Anonymous Coward User ID: 80736479 United States 01/27/2023 11:19 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Hey GLP! As most of you know I am expecting a baby late February. I went to the hospital last night due to having contractions all day. Unfortunately I am also dilated a little which isn't normal since I'm only 34 weeks. Quoting: CigarTigher I am at home on bed rest now , baby is doing fine. Please pray that the baby remains healthy and he will wait atleast until February 6th to be born. I really don't want to have to give birth in a hospital unless baby's or my health declines. Thank you Update: I cannot thank you enough for your prayers! I have been on bedrest since being discharged from the hospital. I received steroid shots for baby's lungs during my hospital stay. I saw the midwife on Monday and Reese is doing well, I am more dilated than I was a week ago and have other cervical changes (TMI I know) My midwife said that she is comfortable with me delivering at 36 weeks at home since I got the steroid shot. I will be avoiding a hospital in Jesus name! I also have a feeling that Reese will be here within a week or two. I will make a post when he is born! Thank you so much GLP. Yall are my internet family and have been for over 10 years! Love y'all! Best wishes to you Tiger. Hope all comes out well. |

Quoting: Where Eagles Dare I'll be 32 this year! How much did he weigh ? I was only 5 pounds even . Last week they estimated Reese's weight to be 5 pounds 11 ounces. I think he maybe pushing 7 pounds if he's born next week. My first born was #5 6oz. Came about 3 weeks early as I had a partial abruptio placentae. Don't worry your baby will be fine. They are tough little humans. |

Prayers for you and baby. I worked with someone who had her baby at home (unexpectedly) and her natural inclination was to stand up. She grabbed the corner of the dresser and with one hand, held on to the little bugger, with the other, as he popped out! She said there was very little pain. Lesson being, stay upright as much as possible. Looking forward to baby pics :) I appreciate that I am planning a water birth . I've always wanted one. I will most definitely DM pics ! Fabulous. When Reese is born, start a book of his many accomplishments and log in every day. You can call it Reese’s Pieces!! But seriously, love that name. Or will he go by a nickname, if daddy goes by Reese? I feel like he will have many GLP godparents. Happy mothering!!! Reeses pieces. Ha. That’s hilarious 20 years ago I knew a dude named Reese I told him he should open a Dry-Cleaning shop and call it Reese's Creases :pixie: General Failure Reading Drive A: Who is General Failure? If you do have to give birth in a hospital, you don't have to let the baby out of your sight and you can refuse any/all vax etc. I did. Good luck and when you see your baby, your life will never be the same, in the best way possible |

Prayers that you will also make it to 37 weeks so you can deliver at home. I can understand why you want to deliver at home. If I was having babies today, I'd feel the same way. The first one is always the scariest since you've never done it before, but your instincts just somehow kick in. I had all mine at 36 weeks. I'm so little, I don't think I could have carried them any longer. But, they were all healthy and a little over 6lbs Please keep us updated, Cigar!!! |
