Guaranteed, this idiot perceived some kind of "disrespect" coming from that car and, after he had just been ruled out for the season due to injury, he was probably in a really bad mood, anyway, and decided to keep it real. Now, he gets to spend the rest of his life in state prison, if not worse. Notice the first name of the first Real Keeper in the video. Coach Nate Oates, apparently, keeps it real correctly. I think the team will be okay without Darius' 1.5 points per game. John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. |

It would be pretty hard to play ball in lockup awaiting trial. It would be interesting to see a guy try to play with an ankle monitor on, though, if the judge allows bail. [link to www.al.com (secure)] University of Alabama basketball player Darius Miles is one of two suspects charged with capital murder in a predawn deadly shooting on the Strip in Tuscaloosa. Both Miles, of Washington D.C., and Michael Lynn Davis, 20, of Maryland, are charged in the killing of as Jamea Jonae Harris, 23, of Birmingham. The shooting happened on the Strip. “It appears at this time that the shooting was the result of a minor argument that occurred between the victims and suspects after they encountered each other along the strip,’’ Kennedy said. Now, the victim’s mother, is decrying the murder and Miles’ alleged part in the crime, saying that it occurred because Jamea spurned the player. “Took my baby’s life because she wouldn’t talk to him,” DeCarla Cotton said on Facebook, according to the New York Post. "Talking" means dating since they don't actually have a male who takes a female out to dinner. She wouldn't "date" him is what this means. Apparently she had a bf and he cousin she was down there meeting with. Talking means "holla". She did not want to holla back ya'll. |

Hearing Bradshaw and Miller were interviewed extensively as well. Miller is a top three draft pick and his dad was a former tight end at Bama. I bet he drove down from TN and went ape shit on his son for 1) being out with Myles and the other thug and 2) being out past midnight. As they say, nothing good happens after midnight. We'll see if Miller & Bradshaw play this week. We play TN @ TN. HWR The US is a One Party State controlled by a small cadre of Financiers Big Daddy D |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 78956429 United States 03/16/2023 02:09 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | This is good to know: Quoting: nutmeg The University Athletics released this statement following the announcement of Miles’s arrest: "We were made aware of the recent charge against student-athlete Darius Miles, and he is no longer a member of the Alabama men’s basketball team." Even better to know: The star player of the team (Brandon Miller) provided the murder weapon. Not only that, but he drove the murder weapon to the scene knowing that it would be used in an existing/ongoing altercation. Miles had called Miller and asked him to bring the gun because some other people weren't showing enough respect (which implies that brandishing/using the gun would fix the lack of respect). The coach refused to kick the star player off of the team. Rather than reprimand the star player, the coach has helped line up armed guards for him, since there are some people who understandably want revenge for his role in the murder of that young woman. |

Quoting: Big Daddy D As they say, nothing good happens after midnight. We'll see if Miller & Bradshaw play this week. We play TN @ TN. Your program deserves the death penalty, and your star player deserves to be blackballed from all organized basketball (college and pros), and your coach deserves to be blackballed from all coaching/leadership positions for life. They've had their opportunities. They fucked up. Give their roster spots and coaching vacancies to better people. . |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 78956429 United States 03/16/2023 02:29 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Would it be fair to say that the coach (Nate Oats) is also partially responsible for that young woman's murder, since he is responsible for the culture of his team? Maybe. What's absolutely certain, though, is that he totally failed in his job to create and maintain a proper culture, and his failure had deadly repercussions. I think Nate Oats has some blood on his hands. Sure, Darius Miles and Brandon Miller have a lot of blood on their hands, too, but head coach Nate Oats has his own share of the young woman's blood on his hands, too. If Alabama doesn't fire their coach and shut down/reboot their disgusting basketball program, then ALL sports at Alabama should be immediately terminated. So if Alabamans want to keep worshipping their footsyball team, then they should do the right thing and terminate the basketball program. . |

He got "frisked down" on the court, as a skit, before a recent game. Then the coach announced no more pat downs. Bama fans have been spotted wearing shirts with "Murdering our way through the SEC" written on them. |
