I can't really decide what this looks like. First thought whale due to the way it blew out the water, but it doesn't look like one in the way its swimming.

I'd agree with a comment in the article that it is a baby whale. It was breathing through a blow hole on top of its head. It also appeared to have a horizontal tail fin.
