The women could pull this easily thurs-saturday even without hooters attire but sun-wed was always a crap shoot unless you ran full sections yourself vs 2-3 running a section

I worked a 3 or 4 hours shift and made on average $400 a shift. This was in the 80’s
Had an apartment in Santa Monica and attended UCLA full time. Paid tuition and never needed loans for University or my cars.

I had one customer tip me $100 each time he ordered a Diet Coke. Never dated any customer. Went to work, worked really hard each night, got home at 3am and was in class by 10:am

Back then you weren’t required to pay taxes on tips. Life was so much easier in the 80’s

Cocktail waitresses work really hard and I learned a lot about people. Never underestimate a waitress
