The US Deep State is forcing the rest of the world to form an alliance to defend against the US. I think India is also cautiously leaning that way.

Having a president malfunction as badly as Biden has consequences.

Even if we get a good president next election, the damage to America's credibility has been done. The US broke too many agreements on a whim.

With a presidency that can change every 4 years, they have learned that making a deal with 1 president is pointless, because in just a couple years, we will have a new president that will break the agreements.
