At the end of the video, Igor says that Russia has conducted a retaliatory strike against a 700+ personnel deployment barracks in Krematorsk. Killing over 600 men.
 Quoting: JustmeTX

It was debanked. They fired a few missiles but barracks are ok. It doesn’t seem that 600 were killed in those buildings. Maybe a couple were injured by broken windows

First, your Greek lawyer.

Mercouris was disbarred as a London barrister.

Russian Media Columnist Alexander Mercouris struck off over claim that senior law lord had him kidnapped

Another author on Kremlin’s Sputnik International will be Alexander Mercouris, disbarred for deceiving a client. Now Mercouris is a columnist of Sputnik, RT, and Voice of Russia.

Alexander Mercouris concocted a web of “deceit” to convince a client he was pursuing the bogus claim, including forging a Supreme Court judge’s signature, a tribunal heard.

He even alleged that Lord Phillips of Worth Matravers, President of the Supreme Court, had him abducted and offered him a £50,000 bribe to abandon the case.

His lies began after he offered to represent Lorna Jamous, 49, a mother seeking damages from a council over standards of care involving her son, the Bar Standards Board (BSB) heard.

[link to www.stopfake.org (secure)]

Finding it difficult to find a job after that, he started working for Russian State Media.

Here’s his bio on Sputnik, whom he works for.

Alexander Mercouris is a London-based writer on international affairs with a special interest in Russia and law. He has written extensively on the legal aspects of NSA spying and events in Ukraine in terms of human rights, constitutionality and international law, being a frequent commentator on television and speaker at conferences. He worked for 12 years in the Royal Courts of Justice in London as a lawyer, specializing in human rights and constitutional law.

[link to sputniknews.com (secure)]

You gotta love how Sputnik spins his 12 year career as a lawyer before he was kicked out of the profession for lying and fraud. Wonder why they didn’t mention that?

His only job is working for Russia now, including putting out these phony propaganda videos.

We’re supposed to believe this guy and his “sources”?

It’s hard to say what happened here, there were reported 8 missiles impacts but journalists were taken to only 2 sites where missiles struck…showing little damage….and visits managed by Kiev. The Russians have very little to gain, if anything, by making fake announcements. So…error, deception or ?
Surprisingly little actually released on hi volume Uke channels. No Russian BDA. So?

Russians seem to be focusing on hitting manpower with attacks on 2d line and deeper reinforcement staging areas, so more missiles killing or wounding 100+ at a time, now in Kherson. Focusing on SBU and nationalist forces persecuting “ liberated” civilians

Status of Soledar and Bakhmut changing fast Uke retreat may occur within days. Heavy casualties, unsustainable logistics.

Thanks.

Looks like they (Sputnik) published articles from him for a couple years and that seems to have ended in 2017. You think he is still working for them? I assume they paid him something for his articles.

You said he IS working for Russia. That gig seems to have ended 6 years ago. Any more proof?

I tend to take people at face value. If the guy is giving credible insight to things and seems to have sources of information, I tend to listen and make up my own mind and not allow someone else's negative opinion based on events I know nothing about take up much bandwidth.

Alex was the guy I started listening to first. His father was an ambassador I believe and seems to give reasonable analysis of world events. Where are your smear articles on him working for Russia? He just disagreed with the Russian MOD claim of killing 600 Ukraine troops with that missile attack. If he is shilling for Russia, he is not doing a very good job of it. I believe he was raised in the US and got his degree from Carnegie Mellon which is a very good school.

I only started to watch Alexander because Alex kept mentioning him and praising his insight. I found Alexander to be incredibly Verbose and thought his affected way of speaking to be almost unbearably weird. At some point he did present some interesting analysis, had some information channels, and seemed to be very careful not to overstate any issue. His opinions do seem well supported and his own, so I still try to listen to the guy once in a while.

In a world of censorship and propaganda, one tends to listen to anyone that seems credible that is operating outside of that dome of control.

I watched a few of the "in country journalists" in Ukraine a time or two and quickly dumped them because I did form the opinion that they were simply Russian shills. I would have to look up their names (edit: Patrick Lancaster was just an over excitable twit and another guy that was actually roughly interrogating a Ukraine POW. Don't recall his name. Young guy military age or maybe ex military. Acts like a hard ass).

And there was one other guy (Gonzalo Lira) that was captured and later showed up on the Duran a few times that I refuse to listen to because he just seems to be useless. I just googled him and he used to be some sort of dating coach for Incels. Pretty bizarre guy.

Most of the weapons the West is supplying to Kiev are old, some are expired, the Ukrainian ambassador to Britain, Vadim Pristayko, told Newsweek.

He said Kiev joked: if you want to dispose of expired weapons, give them to Ukraine. "In normal, peaceful times, no one would want to talk about it in such terms. But now, why not?" - RIA Novosti reports.

The publication notes that Western partners have not yet opened their warehouses to Ukraine to the extent that Kiev would like.

At the same time, Pristayko is happy about plans to supply Ukraine with Patriot SAMs. He also said that tens of thousands of Ukrainian servicemen are being trained in Europe and the USA. [link to vz.ru (secure)]

Earlier, the US authorities announced a new package of military assistance worth over 3bn dollars to Ukraine. Washington said that the USA would supply Ukraine with self-propelled howitzers and tracked Bradley infantry fighting vehicles.
