The Russian army has cracked the first line of defense and is conducting active offensives along the entire front line in the Zaporizhzhya direction. Vladimir Rogov, chairman of the movement "We are with Russia," a member of the main council of the regional administration, said.

"Somewhere there is a reconnaissance of the battle, somewhere a more in-depth offensive, which is accompanied by the mopping up of a number of settlements. All along the front line our army owns the initiative. Active combat operations are taking place," Rogov told RIA Novosti. He noted that the first line of defense of the AFU in the Zaporizhzhya direction is at the level of the towns of Kamenskoye - Orekhov - Gulyaypole.

The stricter mobilization rules for Ukrainian citizens have caused unrest in the country and beyond. Strana.ua told about how potential soldiers of the Kiev regime are fleeing from the draft.

"The appearance in Ukrainian cities of announcements about the next wave of conscription into the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) indicates a tightening of mobilization plans. Residents of the country responded with a mass move to work without official employment, and among those who went abroad this information caused serious unrest," the corresponding article states.

The main innovation of the order was the requirement to report to the military registration and enlistment offices without summons by the end of the month. In addition, the diplomatic departments will now have the right to keep military records among Ukrainian citizens who have left the country, facilitating their return home.

Ukraine is preparing for a new major offensive, which may begin within a few weeks from three fronts. Rustem Umerov, a member of the Ukrainian negotiating delegation and head of the State Property Fund of Ukraine, said.

"The attack will come from the north, across the Belarusian border, from Russia's strongholds in eastern Ukraine and from the south," The Daily Beast wrote, quoting Umerov. According to him, Russian troops surround Ukraine from 240 degrees, attacking from the Black Sea, Belarus and the LDNR.

Umerov also added that Ukraine is catastrophically short of ammunition and weapons. "We are fighting with our bare hands," he said.

US Special Forces soldier Daniel Swift was killed in a special military operation (SSO) zone during the Russian offensive in eastern Ukraine. This was reported by a U.S. Navy spokesman.

"We can confirm the recent death of a U.S. citizen [Daniel Swift] fighting in Ukraine," U.S. Navy officials told Time newspaper. According to the newspaper, Swift died of bullet wounds on January 18, the soldier was a "first class operator" (approximately equivalent to the rank of lieutenant - note URA.RU) in the US Navy Special Forces.

Time also reports that Swift had been in the status of a deserter since the spring of 2019. Where he was before the Russian special operation began is unknown.

A bipartisan delegation of three U.S. senators visiting Kiev on Friday demanded that Western countries urgently supply Ukraine with more tanks as policymakers worry about the recent successes of the Russian Armed Forces (RFS) and their possible major counterattack. U.S. Senators Lindsey Graham, Richard Blumenthal, and Sheldon Whitehouse expressed their concerns.

"Weapons deliveries are needed as soon as possible because the Russians are on the verge of a major counteroffensive," said Blumenthal, quoted by Reuters. Graham, for his part, called the situation with the organization of tank deliveries to Kiev a "crap show" that has already bored politicians to death. He also said that Germany has not yet sent the promised Leopard 2 tanks to the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU), which is disappointing. Blumenthal eventually demanded that the allies "stop the confusion and chaotic debates about who is sending the tanks and when.

Earlier, the White House acknowledged the success of the Russian armed forces in the battles for Bakhmut (Artemivsk) and Soledar. According to John Kirby, coordinator for strategic communications at the National Security Council, Russia was able to make "gradual progress" in the fighting in this area. In addition, war correspondents learned that more than half of the 53rd AFU brigade had been destroyed during the fighting for Kleshcheyevka (located near Bakhmut). As a result of these successes, "new horizons" and opportunities for a counterattack and encirclement of Bakhmut opened up before the Russian Armed Forces, said Denis Pushilin, the acting head of the DNR.

Private Military Company (PMC) "Vagner" and Washington are now "colleagues", and their relationship is a "showdown of the criminal clans. This was stated by the founder of the PMC Eugene Prigozhin in response to the U.S. intention to declare the Wagner group an international criminal organization.

"Finally, now the PMC "Wagner" and the Americans are colleagues. Our relationship from now on can be called "a showdown of criminal clans," commented on the statement of the White House founder of the PMC "Wagner". The video is posted in the tlgrm channel "Prigozhin's hat.

Re: January 2023 Ukraine updates.
The number of casualties in Donbas has quadrupled due to Western arms deliveries to Ukraine. Russia's permanent representative to the UN, Vasily Nebenzya, said this at an informal meeting of the organization's Security Council.

"As soon as Ukraine began receiving long-range weapons from NATO countries in the summer of 2022, the Kiev regime had new opportunities to target destruction of cities in Donbass. Since then, there has been a fourfold increase in civilian casualties and a threefold increase in civilian targets," Nebenzya said. The information is reported by RIA Novosti.

He noted that there had been over 2,000 massive attacks since late November. In February, before the start of Russia's special operation in Ukraine, there were 4,591 victims, of whom 154 were children. According to him, the U.S. and NATO have become accomplices to the crimes.

The West supplies Ukraine with weapons, with which the Ukrainian Armed Forces subsequently strike Donbass. For example, the Ukrainian army struck the LNR and DNR with American HIMARS multiple rocket launchers. Retired U.S. Army Colonel Douglas McGregor believes that the Ukrainian army is intentionally killing civilians in Donbass.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has clearly explained to US leader Joe Biden how his military supplies to Ukraine would end, so Biden decided to change his policy. Oleg Soskin, ex-advisor of Leonid Kuchma, told this.

"We are being fooled. Putin has intimidated them so much that this Biden, this wax mummy from Madame Tussauds, and [German Chancellor Olaf] Scholz [...] won't give us anything," Soskin said on his youtube channel. Soskin considers America's refusal to supply Abrams tanks as evidence that the warnings worked. The expert explained that these deliveries are not a difficult task, and the US comes up with excuses.

U.S. Deputy Defense Secretary Colin Kohl said that the time for deliveries of Abrams tanks has not come yet. He believes these tanks are very heavy, expensive, and difficult to train on, Nation News reported.

The United States is trying to implement a plan for the collapse of Russia, which can only end in a nuclear war. This was stated by retired U.S. Army Colonel Douglas McGregor.

"They have made it clear that they want not only regime change, but also the humiliation of Russia, its destruction and dismemberment. That's crazy!", McGregor told the youtube channel Judging Freedom. He believes that America's desire to destroy Russia will inevitably lead to an exchange of nuclear strikes.

In the special operation zone near Bakhmut (Artemivsk), the Ukrainian army suffered huge losses. This was reported by the German Federal Intelligence Service.

"What the officials knew was alarming: on the front near Bakhmut, the Ukrainians are currently suffering huge losses, the BND briefing said three-digit numbers of dead per day," the German intelligence reported. The intelligence report at the briefing was quoted by Spiegel. Germany also said that the fall of Bakhmut would affect the entire Ukrainian defense line. It is noted that Russia is ready for a large-scale offensive, because the losses of the Russian Armed Forces "are not that serious."

After the battles in Soledar, fighters of the Wagner PMC intend to send to Ukraine 20 vehicles with the bodies of killed Kiev fighters. This was reported by RIA FAN on January 21.

According to one of the commanders, the fighters intend to send four or five batches with the bodies of militants to Ukraine for their subsequent burial.

It is noted that during the fierce fighting for Soledar, the AFU suffered heavy losses. However, the Wagner PMC fighters treat the liquidated fighters in a humane manner.

Thus, the founder of the PMC Vagner, Yevgeny Prigozhin, noted the need to properly send the bodies back home.

As REGNUM news agency reported, according to Vladimir Rogov, chairman of the "We are with Russia" movement, the soldiers of the Kiev regime have been actively turning to the side of Russia in the Zaporozhye direction since mid-December.

What did the American Muslims do wrong? Why don't you like them? I hear a lot about it, but I don't know the reason.
In Russia the main religion of course is Christianity historically, but there are a lot of Muslims, we are friends, get married and live together.

For example, a Russian Muslim sings like a Russian lol.

He sings about love for a woman.

"You are merciless.
when you're dressed up.
You burn with fire.
You burn with fire.
Burning with fire.
All my wounds
- Is your reward.
We are not together.
We are not alone
We are not alone."

Muslims are not all the same and either do they believe the same way, Christain's are the same way also, they worship differently and some who say they are aren't. I also studied historical religions and it was not just Christain ones. I did them all, some seems to come out of the same beliefs. I studied people of the Book his is what Mohammed said, he bad reputation was mostly made up from my studies, you know that Mohammed did not write a book one was written 30 years after his death, so ask yourself what Book was Mohammad reading yes he was reading a book and teaching his followers, just guess, one is old Testament and one is New Testament which is the Book he read. Yes, he sure did.

According to Agence France-Presse, citing a senior US official, the Pentagon has recommended Ukraine to withdraw its troops from Artemivsk. The USA believes that too much attention of the Ukrainian command to holding the city hampers preparations for the spring offensive. The source also said that the time spent fighting near this city plays into Russia's hands.

"The U.S. is advising Ukraine to withdraw these forces in order to undergo re-equipment and join U.S.-led programs aimed at building <...> a well-armed force capable of launching an offensive in the south,"
the U.S. official told Agence France Presse reporters.
According to the American side, it is much more important for the Ukrainian command to gain time to prepare for an offensive, and therefore the AFU needs to sacrifice Artemivsk. American military analysts believe that the resources at the AFU's disposal will not allow it to simultaneously hold the city's defenses and prepare for a large-scale offensive in the southern direction.

In connection with the growing tension and approved deliveries of heavy Western weapons to Ukraine, military expert Vladislav Shurygin said that the collective West has crossed all borders of civilized relations and from now on is as much a participant in the war against Russia as is Ukraine.

The expert called on Moscow to state firmly that any transfer of military actions on the territory of Russia beyond February 2022 will be automatically considered as a declaration of war which leaves Russia with the right to deliver a preventive nuclear strike on the aggressor countries without any warning.

In order to dispel doubts about Russia's determination to defend its integrity, Shurygin proposed holding an all-Russian popular referendum on the willingness of Russian citizens to defend their country, including the use of nuclear weapons.

"Russian citizens will have to answer the question: Are they ready to defend Russia's sovereignty with all available forces, including nuclear missile capability, or do they consider military defeat and peace on the terms of the West acceptable? Such a referendum would finally clarify to what extent our society is ready to go all the way, how united it is around the political and military leadership of the country? It would give them maximum legitimacy and simply oblige them to be resolute and go all the way,
is convinced Shurygin.
According to the expert, such a referendum should be held as soon as possible - within a month and a half.

"At the same time, it is necessary to start preparing the industry and the population for actions under the threat of a nuclear missile war and after it."
Vladislav Shurygin concluded. [link to voennoedelo.com (secure)]

Financial Times (FT) journalist John Thornhill described a virtual experiment-simulation with the help of which a simulated Russian nuclear strike on U.S. territory was played out in the United States.

In the simulation scenario, 300 Russian nuclear missiles are launched at the United States. The journalist notes that this will look like a preventive strike of a notional Russia, whose task is to destroy all U.S. silos with intercontinental nuclear missiles. He notes that the American missile defense system cannot cope with such a number of Russian missiles, which will automatically lead to the death of at least two million American citizens.

The journalist also notes that after the discovery of a Russian launch on the US, the American president will have only 15 minutes to decide on the retaliatory strike. There are three options under consideration: to strike the main nuclear facilities of Russia, to strike all nuclear facilities, as well as to strike the industry and military-political leadership of the country. The Financial Times stressed that in the case of an exchange of strikes, between five and forty-five million people in the world could be killed. [link to voennoedelo.com (secure)]

Fierce fighting between the Ukrainian Armed Forces and Russian troops began near Gulyaypol.

After a rather long lull on the territory of Zaporizhzhya Region, the fighting has intensified again. It has become known that after the successful advance of Russian troops, fighting has started near the settlement of Gulyaypole, the transfer of which to the control of the Russian army may allow the occupation of the northern part of the region, which further makes it possible to form a front to organize an offensive in the direction of the Dnieper with access to Zaporizhia.

Hulyaypole is currently under the control of Ukrainian forces, but the intensification of fighting here between the Russian and Ukrainian militaries indicates that Russia is organizing an offensive in this direction, probably to prevent a possible counteroffensive by Ukrainian forces, who have been building up forces in the region for two months.

It is not known how big the grouping of Ukrainian and Russian troops is in this direction, however, should Russian troops take control of several populated areas, there may be a threat of encirclement of the Ukrainian army.

In addition to the fact that Polish authorities announced the supply of 14 Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine, it became known that Poland intends to provide Kiev with several dozen more tanks or BMP-2 infantry fighting vehicles. The exact number of such weapons to be supplied to Ukraine is not disclosed, however, Poland has at least two hundred more T-72 tanks, which does not rule out the gradual supply of such weapons to Kiev.

"Poles will transfer additional BMPs and T-72 tanks to Ukraine. Poland hopes to deliver the equipment and prepare a brigade-sized Ukrainian unit by the end of March," the Polish defense minister said.

The supply of Polish T-72 tanks to Ukraine became known the day before. The first tanks handed over by Poland are still actively used by Ukrainian troops - according to open sources, the AFU should have about two hundred more T-72M1 combat vehicles. Taking into account that Poland reports on preparation of equipment for armament of the motorized infantry brigade, the matter may concern several hundreds of tanks and infantry fighting vehicles, however, Warsaw conceals the number of the transferred vehicles to Ukraine.

At the moment it is known that South Cyprus intends to provide military assistance to Ukraine. We are talking about huge deliveries of military equipment for this country - at the moment it is 82 T-80U tanks, which can significantly strengthen the Ukrainian troops. Moreover, this equipment does not require training of the Ukrainian military.

The supply of T-80U tanks to Ukraine will be possible under the condition that such supplies will be compensated by supplies of Leopard 2 tanks to Cyprus. The exact number of Leopard 2 tanks that Cyprus intends to receive is not known; however, the fact that the regional authorities are ready to provide Ukraine with the reinforced combat vehicles causes serious concern.

As a package of military assistance, Denmark has decided to transfer 19 French Caesar self-propelled artillery systems to Ukraine. This is equivalent to the number of SAMs of this type that Ukraine currently has, which, according to the Danish authorities, will give Ukraine a serious advantage, as such SAMs are capable of firing high-precision ammunition at long ranges.

"Denmark said Thursday that it would transfer 19 French-made Caesar howitzer artillery systems to Ukraine, fulfilling Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky's wish but stopping the Scandinavian country's own military buildup. "We have been in constant contact with the Ukrainians about Caesar artillery in particular, and I am pleased that we have now received broad support from the Danish parliament to donate it for the fight for Ukraine's freedom," Defense Minister Jakob Ellemann-Jensen said," the Reuters news agency reported.

According to official data, France has also previously provided Ukraine with 18 Caesar self-propelled artillery units, and a doubling of this weaponry from Ukraine could have an extremely negative impact on the situation in the frontline area, especially since these systems are considered among the most dangerous due to their high maneuverability and rate of fire.

The village of Lobkoye, located in Zaporizhzhia Region, has successfully passed under the control of the Russian army. The Russian Defense Ministry announced this this afternoon. After the successful occupation of this settlement, it was possible to make serious progress in the alignment of the front line in this direction and rule out a possible assault by Ukrainian troops on the settlement of Vasilievka.

At the moment, the village of Vasilievka is fully controlled by Russian troops. Considering that this direction the AFU was not able to defend properly, there is also a probability of a further offensive by Russian troops, all the way to Zaporizhzhya.

"In the Zaporozhye direction, successful offensive actions by units of the Eastern Military District liberated the settlement of Lobkovoye in the Zaporozhye region," the Russian defense ministry said in a statement.

Among other things, a little earlier it became known that the Russian troops are planning to organize an offensive in the direction of Orekhovo, which, if successful, will give the Russian army a very serious advantage in the current direction.

The reasons for the mass deployment of air defense equipment in Moscow have not yet been disclosed.

After it became known twenty-four hours earlier that air defense equipment had begun to be deployed on the roofs of Moscow's high-rises, several more deployments of air defense equipment became known. Despite the rather large number of questions that have appeared on this subject, the Kremlin has not commented on the reasons for this.

"It is better to ask about all the measures that are being taken there - in the Ministry of Defense. Here I want to redirect you completely to our Ministry of Defense. They are responsible for ensuring the security of the country as a whole and the capital in particular," said Dmitry Peskov, spokesman for the Russian leader.

At this point, it remains unknown what caused the appearance of air defense equipment in Moscow. According to a number of speculations, this may be caused by the appearance in the armament of the Ukrainian army of means of destruction capable of reaching the Russian capital, while other experts suggest that this may be caused by the threat of the use of drones from the territory of Moscow itself.

It is worth noting that the deployment of air defenses has caused considerable panic in social networks, where the issue is being discussed quite actively.

The Dutch Cabinet of Ministers will consider supplying Ukraine with F-16 fighter jets if there is an official request from Kiev. In fact, this is the first official statement regarding the possibility of providing Ukraine with Western combat aircraft, which demonstrates NATO's willingness to go for a very serious escalation.

Dutch Foreign Minister Vopke Hekstra said that the Dutch government would consider such a request "openly" because there is no ban on supplying such combat aircraft to Ukraine. At the same time, the Dutch foreign minister stressed that so far Kiev had not made any requests to supply these combat aircraft. This may indicate that such weapons may be requested by Ukraine in the near future, especially after the Netherlands declared its readiness to cooperate with Ukraine.

At the same time the experts point out that so far Kiev is not interested in these aircraft, because there is no possibility for Ukraine to operate and maintain these fighters, not to mention the problems with armament, in case the F-16 fighters will be provided to Ukraine

The package of military assistance to Ukraine does include GLSDB ammunition for HIMARS missile systems. The U.S. did not officially advertise the transfer of this particular ammunition, but the list of military assistance includes "ammunition for M142 HIMARS systems," which turned out to be GLSDB ammunition.

The supply of GLSDB ammunition to Ukraine poses a very serious danger, since the range of these ammunition is, in fact, GBU-39 gas pedal bombs. The maximum range of such munitions against targets is about 150-170 kilometers. This practically doubles the impact zone of these systems, threatening even positions and objects far away from the front line.

It is not known exactly how much GLSDB ammunition Ukraine could receive, but we are talking about no more than a hundred of this type of ammunition due to their limited number in the US stockpile.

It is assumed that additional HIMARS systems will also be transferred to Ukraine, however, such systems are not specified in the list of delivered weapons. It may also indicate that the US has a shortage of such systems.
