January 2023 Ukraine updates.
LIve feed and alerts

[link to www.youtube.com (secure)]

The thing I like about the youtube live feed is it contains 12 hours of history, so you can look back and see the air alert status map as it was during the last 12 hours.

[link to alerts.in.ua (secure)]

This map is useful because if you hit the timer icon on the bottom, you can read the text on the right about the various air strike details. (not very detailed but it gives some idea).

Why on Earth would you say that?

Free expression of ideas and events is a fundamental tenet of enlightenment.

Ignorance causes wars.

Enlightenment stops them.

I have conducted negotiations around the world as part of my job. In my opinion, it is always a good thing.

You lay out the facts, the concerns, the risks and you figure out who owns what assets, risks, debts, etc. If both sides negotiate in good faith it is always going to be a good thing.

This one would be pretty simple actually. Putin has already pretty much laid out his objectives and concerns.

I would suggest the following:
1) Russia retains sole rights to the lands it now occupies and (Crimea and Donbas) which have voted overwhelmingly to join Russia. And who could blame them? they were getting shelled by their own country! The Dniper river makes a proper dividing line. SO that is the dividing line. To the West would be Ukraine, to the East would be Russia.

2) Ukraine must promise not to join NATO. Not have nuclear weapons and not to base NATO missiles in Ukraine. Ukraine must remain a neutral buffer between NATO and Russia.

3) Ukraine must immediately remove anyone in their government or military with Nazi affiliation, including tattoos.

4) If the peace is broken, give a list of countries that will guarantee the peace by military intervention if necessary. Something with some teeth in it, since the US and EU reneged on the Minsk accords.

5) Russia to be given a space in Kiev for a large consulate.

6) Ukraine retains its 1 remaining port city so it will be able to ship to the international market. Otherwise, it is a dead rump state.

7) Ukraine must close down all bioweapons labs.

8) All sanctions against Russia to be stopped. Their seized assets to be returned. Their right to operate natural gas supply pipelines to Europe restored.

Otherwise, let the war progress until Ukraine is totally defeated. But this introduces more costs, and risks to both sides. Risk of WWIII, risk of Nuclear war. ANd certainly the costs to continue the war and then rebuild the country that has just been destroyed.

Both sides have an interest in peace, or at least they should.

But the MIC loves war and the money it brings, and Biden (Deep State) loves the ability to continue to bleed money from US taxpayers and pretend to give it to Ukraine's military, when in fact it is going into various people's pockets.

Honestly, the only alternative I see is a nuclear war, which is where this is all headed.

Sooner or later, something significant will happen, and the nukes will come out of the silos.

The negotiation would be between the USA and Russia. Full stop.

There is no legit. government in Ukraine to negotiate with.

At some point, the countries that would be enlisted to "keep the peace" after the agreement would need to be brought into the negotiation. But to start with, the 2 main rivals need to talk together, alone. With me in the middle, with a good translator. I might also require their chairs to be electrified from a control panel I would be given to encourage good faith negotiations. :)

The US should reverse the coup it conducted in Pakistan recently and put the properly elected leader there back in office. Otherwise, this shit is going to start up all over again with biolabs in Pakistan, etc etc. and then we would have a war with China when Pakistan joins NATO.

Nip it in the bud!

fife

it's all very nice.
There will be no more Ukraine.
Zelensky is the last president of Ukraine.
I'm not sorry. As an independent state, Ukraine has not taken place in 30+ years. and it will not take place. There is no separate people there. It will always be a suburb (this is how the word "Ukraine" is translated from Polish). The question is which country's outskirts. This will be decided by the people of each region. Not you and me. And Putin will not take on such responsibility. This "outskirts" is not the first time since the 12th century that it has become a bone of contention between Russia and the West.

There will be no NATO either. NATO has not just outlived itself, it has always brought only evil, ask 120+ countries of the world that NATO bombed.
can you give me at least one reason to leave IT? why do you need NATO?

During the missile strike of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Makeyevka in the DPR, 63 Russian servicemen were killed. This is stated in the summary of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
As explained in the department, the AFU struck at the point of temporary deployment of one of the units of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation with six HIMARS MLRS shells.

"As a result of the defeat of four missiles with a high-explosive head part of the temporary deployment point, 63 Russian servicemen were killed," the report says.

The Defense Ministry added that two HIMARS shells were shot down by Russian air defense systems. [link to rg.ru (secure)]

Earlier, the Deputy Minister of Information of the DPR, Daniil Bessonov, reported that Ukrainian troops fired at the vocational school building in Makeyevka from HIMARS. According to him, the blow was struck exactly at 00:01 on New Year's Eve.

Later it was reported that the reason for the strike was the high cellular activity of the Russian military.

Re: January 2023 Ukraine updates.
Former U.S. Air Force and federal law enforcement security officer Christian Orr called electromagnetic shock (EMP) the most dangerous military threat to America. He voiced this opinion in an article for the American portal 19FortyFive.

According to a military expert, a successful EMP strike on the U.S. would be a disaster beyond measure or understanding, essentially ushering in "the end of the world as we know it." Nevertheless, there is nothing the Biden administration can do about it.

Orr explained that when an EMP is used, a thermonuclear weapon explodes 40 kilometers or more above Earth's atmosphere, releasing a burst of gamma rays. These gamma rays affect air molecules, tearing off electrons and accelerating these negatively charged particles to about 90 percent the speed of light. The electrons are attracted by the Earth's magnetic poles, releasing huge levels of electromagnetic radiation onto the planet's surface.

The electrical grid, along with the metal in electronic devices such as computers and radios, then take the full brunt of the EMP that passes through the tiny circuits, probably destroying or severely damaging them. Eventually, all technology, from iPhones to laptops to electronic fuel injection systems in cars to heating and air conditioning systems, will be "totally fried."

As a result, modern post-agrarian and post-industrial society will cease to function, the expert gloomily concluded. He quoted the late U.S. professor, Dr. Prya, who stated that Biden suspended the "Securing the United States Power System," so the U.S. continues to import ultra-high voltage transformers from China, making the United States potentially more vulnerable to EMP and cyber attacks.

As Orr concluded, Iran, Russia, and China equally have the capability to launch EMP strikes against America as part of their military plans, and there is nothing the United States can do about it. [link to rg.ru (secure)]
