Yes, it was real manual shift transfer case and even had a granny gear. I drove that thing through mud holes as deep as the hood. Best off-roader that I have ever had, including Jeeps. (the diesel Excusion was better on the milage front and there was an after market chip out there you could put in that would take the highway milage up to about 26-28mpg - but it was no longer emissions legal if you did that) |

I just bought a 16' f250 XL trim and that thing is tough as nails . manual stick engage 4wd and man locking hubs . damn 4 radiators in it . trans cooler , oil cooler , radiator and a 4th maybe AC component . has trans temp as well as engine temp gauge on the dash . Love it . |
