UniFlu is ok takes the edge off. Keep them hydrated, food will be hard for them to swallow.

Check their temps often too.

Bed and rest.

Hot baths if you have one and changes of bedclothes often.

It sounds like you have a good doctor. Most of them would have found a way to kill your kids. You're family is very fortunate.

Star Anise herb (dried Starfruit w/seeds) is the original source of Tamiflu, before Pharma found out how to lab synthesize it.
The active ingredient is Shikimic acid, I think?

You can buy dried Star Anise herb at health food stores or online in tea or bulk form.
Boil/steep a kid sized hand full/per serving for 30 minutes and it makes an excellent home remedy with a taste that is very similar to Tamiflu.

For best extraction of the Shikimic acid, use a home espresso machine, or a new ultrasonic cleaner w/ built in heat feature. Both items start in the $99 range online.
Mike Adams of NaturalNews.C has a video showing how to do the extraction. Search his site for: star anise tea and/or pine needle tea.

Note the espresso machine needs to have a minimum BAR pressure of 15 or 18, according to Mike.
I bought the same $129 espresso machine that he uses in the video off Azn.
Now it's all I use for my coffee and Tamiflu tea.
So I've easly paid for the machine 10 times over by making all my coffee drinks at home.

Just got over the flu. I was sick two days, my wife three, our son five days because he kept trying to go to work and school. It was finals week.

They didn't offer the covid test or mention the covid vax.

I was diagnosed with influenza a last week and went to a very good e r.
They would not give tamiflu.
They gave me fluids and Tylenol and an inhaler.

I was sick for 10 days. Now my family has it.

OP, I’m also in Central, Central OH if you get my drift. Your doc start with a To? I am due for 2nd kiddo soon, I have my doc, would like a back-up. I think mine is one of the more well-known in the area that is reasonable. But yeah, I had our first in Oct 2020. Thinking I’ll be more strict with visitors and such with this one than I was even with her during Covid, did to the insane amounts of RSV and flu for littles going around in the area. Its nuts.

Black tea will settle an upset stomach. And take antihistamines like Benadryl when starting to feel sick.
