Excellent question, was wondering the same thing as far as immunity for the organization goes. Will look into it.
My understanding is that there's no state law immunity - either against civil lawsuits or criminal charges - for individuals who were grossly negligent or acted criminally.
Probably depends on the exact nature of the claims or charges, whether the individual is indemnified by the organization, and other factors.
All that being said - THIS NEEDS SO BADLY TO HAPPEN
