If the president can make it illegal for private individuals working on public infrastructure (also private) to organize a strike, couldn’t he

… make the private companies that employ said private individuals come to terms in the negotiations? It doesn’t seem like they’re asking too much.. it all reads like communism/facism. But we can’t handle a strike. Even for a week. The results would be catastrophic. But a few sick days isn’t too much to ask. If they all just hit at the exact same time, they would still bring the country to its knees. The people they would replace them with would be rushed through training and there would be many, many accidents.
