The "Ethnic Russian" myth.

In Australia most here are "Etnic" British and Irish and yes have respect for culture but have no allegiance to UK or Irish governments. We are Australians, not Irish or British and do not want to be.

Many peoples in North, central and South America are ethnic Portuguese or Spanish. They respect their heritage but don't answer to other governments.

Fijian Indians don't answer to India. They have been in Fiji so long nearly all have no family connections to India other than DNA and cutural practice.
