Does puberty turn children into monsters?
In the late 80s, I remember all the males I knew at the middle school I attended trading porn. It was some hardcore porn too. I remember in seventh grade I heard eighth graders discussing how much a particular porn magazine or video was worth. One of them said, "This is with chains" with emphasis on chains like it was so great. I remember thinking, "Those eighth graders are scary." I was involved in trading hardcore porn too but just nothing with chains.

Young women turn into something different. Taylor Swift wrote "Our Song" in ninth grade. This is what happens to young women usually.

I almost didn't notice all the roses
And the note that said

So egotistical and narcissistic that she "almost didn't notice all the roses" and "the note."

It turns us into monsters. Then comes drugs and alcohol and life becomes Hell.

Children are born monsters.

It's the life thereafter that determines if they remain one.

I read a funny about girls getting to that age, "they're like a swamp spreading out and taking over everything."

True. They need guidance to turn into decent human beings. That is why lord of the flies was written. Children are not little angels. They can be real monsters.

I have a message for the "Taylor Swift is a man" crowd:

Only a woman could have written the words quoted above.

They are leaving the protection of parents and finding their own and it sucks. As they get freedoms come the responsibilities and add in sex hormones is no wonder.

We don't tend to admit how much competition we are in. Also without children, who are fresh meat to lift up the generation above, their being being exploited by the damn adults...

Re: Does puberty turn children into monsters?
No the boom-ers did.

Most kids in the 90s-00s were doing sex acts or talking about them starting age 11. The parents ignored it or applauded it. The parents didn’t teach their kids morals. The parents who did were homeschooling their kids and the boom-ers made them out to be weirdos for being involved in their kids’ lives.
