Why do people go to the doctor if they are not sick?

Have you seen the drug ads on TV? Upwards of 75% of all advertising is pharmaceutical. How are we supposed ask our doctors about all of these wonderful chemical cocktails if we don't make appointments? Duh!

I sure as fuck don't. I have the "good" insurance and it's still a couple hundred $ just for an appointment. God forbid I have to see a specialist.

For two years during Covid lock-downs, UK hostpital A&E departments (Emergency Rooms) were totally empty, not an Ambulance to be seen.

Now after the pandemic fear porn is over, A&E departments have Ambulances queueing for hours, and multiple hour waiting times.

Where did all the sick people go for two years. I regularly drove around a major city University teaching hostpital with over 25 Patient Wards (550 beds / 4,000 staff). During the lock-downs the place was deserted, even though all the lights were on; no one was coming or going, usual packed car parks were empty, the usual chaotic staff car parking in surrounding streets all vanished. Meanwhile the gullible clapped the heroic sacrifice made by TikTok dancing medical staff, managers and administrators.

The government need to announce another deadly pandemic, to fix the problem with the Hospital crisis and queueing times.

As for why most people need to see doctors, because they feel entitled to be seen (at least here in the UK that is.
