However, the chip has all the information that is needed, so to expand and upgrade the vessel, and without having to be transferred to a machine, and also it has the capability of disengaging with the vessel and still to be able to go outside and even more far than being transferred to a machine.

It is like the rockets that launch and then only one part is left, this one is more sophisticated, there is no use in having only a part left, the chip is constructed in a way that can disengage from the vessel and from the actual chip and still to be able to function.
