He got to NZ very early on, his alliances with diabolical people lends one to think he has some guilt for all that he kept quiet about, like so many of them. Idk what I’d do if they said they would kill me or my family, I’d probably run away too. |

Immersive, felt like you were there, etc. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 82731100 I caught it on TV a year later and without the 3D, not even an interesting film. Cameron is now talking about making 8 sequels. Has spent ten years making the first sequel, in which time most people don't like theatres anymore. He is saying, well, we will need to make 2 billion on this sequel to make the next few. The sequel looks like the exact same move as the first one. We are supposed to care about overgrown cat looking Smurfs teaching their animal kids to fly around on weird birds. Why exactly? I'm sure it will be ok in real 3D. But 2 billion dollars??? Is there more to this? Is he telling us some truth hidden in this silliness? Because he literally comes off as mentally ill at this point. I’ve never felt like I was on another planet from a movie. It was just “Pocahontas in Space.” |

A group savages who falls in love with an outsider. Quoting: SafeandSound Plus their skin is blue. What’s the real reason behind the movie? He stole the concept and characters directly from Disney's Atlantis. Right down to the characters and flying mounts. Should be obvious to anyone that looks. It was just “Pocahontas in Space.” Actually thought FernGully the Last Rainforest was a better compare. He basically knocked off a shitty early 90s Disney movie about environment destruction and repackaged it. The first avatar was popular because it was 3d now that schtick has worn off and people don't even like going to the movies anymore. Dude took way too damn long to release the sequel and there's nothing in the previews to suggest this will be anything but a rehash of the first. It doesn't even look better being made 15years later. I think the OP is right... He appears to have lost his mind on this. |

Could be an unveiling of the secret space program and our breakaway civilization colonizing distant worlds for minerals and agriculture with indentured "missing persons". |

The 3D was done with perfection with a third person observation immersion perspective. Brilliantly done. I think Mr. Cameron should remove himself from California and find another place to do his productions perhaps Argentina or Uruguay to keep the costs down. |
Cameron Plagiarist User ID: 84308024 United States 11/30/2022 03:59 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Cameron is a plagiarist and a thief of intellectual property. He stole the idea for “The Terminator” from an “Outer Limits” episode, and got sued to the point he had to acknowledge the “Outer Limits” screenwriter in the closing credits of the film. Cameron stole from Kevin Costner’s “Dances With Wolves” and Robin Williams’ “Fern Gully” for this Avatar shit. That fucker steals and lies like no tomorrow. The only film of his that was original was “Aliens,” and even then he had to run with a franchise created by Ridley Scott. |
