The root of a tooth is connected to nerves that play a special godly role in your body. The root needs to have this connection. The more teeth pulled, the more ailments you will have and the shorter life on this Earth you will experience. I would avoid chewing hard stuff with that tooth. Make sure to floss around it daily. Get food grad peroxide and dilute it with distilled water. Squirt it on that tooth every night after brushing. Stop seeing dentists. They are wicked people. |

The noise from the handpiece along with smell is unsettling, but only for less than 5 minutes. You should be in and out in an hour with a temp crown on, and come back in 2 weeks for 30 minute seat time for permanent crown. unless he has Cerec or way to mill the crown in office, then allow for 90 minutes at the time of procedure. When completed you won’t even notice it’s there, and life is back to normal. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 73791246 It would take them 20 minutes. Thank you. I will call tomorrow and ask if this is possible I had a molar, with a 30 year old filling, that cracked on one corner. A small piece of the tooth broke away The dentist drilled out the old filling and refilled it, fixed the crack and built up the area of the corner that had chipped away, all with the same material. For just a crack, they may have to do a little drilling to give the composite medium some extra surfaces to bond to...and in that case they will need to numb your mouth around the tooth. |

Well two nights ago I was eating and somehow I bit down and that same tooth was awful awful pain again. So I went to the dentist this morning and they said it’s a big chip in the tooth. Quoting: Seekingtruthandhonor I can do a crown. But it’s really expensive I can get the tooth pulled not as expensive Just let it be and don’t bite down on that tooth I saw the X-ray. It’s a big split in the tooth. But it doesn’t go to the root. So I am wondering what you guys suggest! I have never even had a cavity. So the idea of someone working on my tooth for 2 hours for a crown doesn’t sound fun. if there is pain just get it out now they like doing work over and over and over again double, triple, quad, dipping into your wallet before you have to have it out anyway once it's damaged, it's fckd the crack might not go to the root now however, it's impossible to seal that and it will continue to rot underneath any "work" they do it's like painting over mold it doesn't last and it's a waste of money :pixie: General Failure Reading Drive A: Who is General Failure? There can be Only One Team Swirl Swirl Nation instead of red, post in the thread, then I can respond. [link to qz.com (secure)] |

First the pull the filling and then grind the tooth down to a stub and then fit you with a temp crown while the permanent one gets made. The about two week later you go back and they remove the temp and put on the real. I would get the crown. Probably only $500-$700 |
