Do you think also that the two witnesses or Israel and the Church? I have seen both points of view but to me it is clear that they will be TWO individuals?
 Quoting: WhiteAngel

I forgot to answer the 2 witnesses part.

I think they being from all 12 represent Israel as the witnesses. How does one Israel become two witnesses? Israel was divided into two kingdoms. The Kingdom of Judah and the Kingdom of Israel represented by Joseph.

Eze 37:16 Moreover, thou son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and [for] all the house of Israel his companions:

Eze 37:17 And join them one to another into one stick; and they shall become one in thine hand.
 Quoting: Achduke7

Revelation 11:3-12 KJV
3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.

4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.

5 And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.

6 These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.

7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.

8 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.

9 And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.

10 And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.

11 And after three days and an half the spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them. (is this the "rapture" and all shall see?)

12 And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.

Notice they lay dead for 3 1/2 days, which makes one wonder if this relates to the 3 1/2 years of the Great Tribulation. They prophecy for 3 1/2 years or 1,260 days.

3 1/2 repeats itself a lot in the Bible
 Quoting: WhiteAngel

I see the 3.5 years as the midpoint Christ was cut off with the 2nd part of the week remaining.

The man of sin rules for 3.5 years while the two witnesses and woman of rev 12 are protected.
 Quoting: Achduke7

So you think Revelation 11:12 shouldnt be there, which says the two witnesses are taken up to God?

Re: “If you stock your pantry, you aren’t living by faith. I’m waiting for the rapture.”
Pre-trib rapture doctrine cherry picks verses and strings them together like Fruit Loops on wet spaghetti. It falls apart and eventually stinks.

When I moved here in 1999 I went church shopping. 3 different churches were teaching why the Left Behind books were true. I don't want any book but the Bible at the pulpit, especially badly written fiction.

Tim LaHaye openly admitted he used his popularity and power to manipulate politics to cause prophecy fulfillments, as interpreted by him, so we'll all get raptured out sooner, before things get tough.

Why not rape the planet? We're gonna get raptured in a few years anyway.

[link to en.wikipedia.org (secure)]

My God and my Bible instructs me to prepare for the days of calamity and scarcity, to take care of my family and neighbors. I already resent the pre-trib grasshoppers who expect me to feed them when the rapture isn't soon enough for them.
 Quoting: Crabby Abby

Which means you do not believe in the imminent return of Christ, you have to wait atleast 7 years of triblation with the antichrist and everything before he comes. And you dont believe the j ish people will come back into the sheepfold like Romans 11:26 says, which means there must be some kind of denominational shift.

3.5 years. The man of sin only rules for 3.5 years. This is the same duration of time the woman of Rev 12 and the two witnesses are protected.

Rev 13:5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty [and] two months.
 Quoting: Achduke7

So you are mid trib now where you think the rapture will happen before the antichrist rule?

The two witnesses are raptured:

Revelation 11:12 - "And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them."

No, The resurrection/harpazo happens after the man of sin persecutes the saints. This is toward the end of the 3.5 years. The harpazo happens at Rev 11:12

Rev 11:3 And I will give [power] unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred [and] threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.

Why? Rev 11:12 the harpazo makes perfect sense where it is at. The end of the man of sin rule before God's wrath at 11:18.

Rev 11:18 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.

Of course the two witnesses are tribulation saints. They are witnessing for God and Christ during the tribulation and then they are resurrected at the end of the tribulation.

How they die happens at the hands of the man of sin. Maybe the AC gathers them up for his great big televise. Time will tell.

The 144k are most likely spread out and ministering. The AC gathers them up. With today's tracking does that seem impossible?

So you claim all of them will be gathered in Jerusalem, and they will preach to people over TV, after the mark of the beast is being enforced and Gods wrath is poured out on the global population? Doesnt sound to me like people will even have electricity or working TV's at the end of the great tribulation.

So isnt the time of preaching rather the first 3.5 years before the antichrist enters the temple?

Isa 10:22 For though thy people Israel be as the sand of the sea, [yet] a remnant of them shall return: the consumption decreed shall overflow with righteousness.

Isa 11:11 And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea.

Jer 23:3 And I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all countries whither I have driven them, and will bring them again to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and increase.

This thread is like the blind leading the blind, except they’re not blind and are intentionally misleading and perverting scripture to the detriment of those reading.

There are literal demons doing most of the posting on this thread. Avoid.

I’m so sick and tired of “Christians” who judge others without discretion.

What a stupid mentality.

“Christians” have never been so dumb throughout history.

I guess the “real Christians” are Trump supporters because they know!!!

Yes, they know that they are going to be ”raptured” out of here before anything bad happens.

It’s as if they have never read history and how bad things happen to good people.

“You don’t have faith. You’re walking in fear.” Says the supposed faithful.

The 144k are the remnant of Israel. Israel was divided into two kingdoms. The northern kingdom and the southern kingdom. The southern kingdom was taken captivity into Babylon. The northern kingdom was taken captive into Assyria. Only the southern kingdom returned to Israel/Palestine.

The 144k are most likely spread out and ministering. The AC gathers them up. With today's tracking does that seem impossible?
 Quoting: Achduke7

It would make sense if this was 2700 years ago, but this divide among the j ish people is not here now.

 Quoting: Just†Me

The j ish people are only one Kingdom or Judah. There is another kingdom that has not returned. I do not claim they return to Jerusalem to preach. They are already doing that throughout the world. I think the AC gathers them to Jerusalem in the end.

I do not think technology or electricity go away. Technology will most likely be used for persecution. Those with the mark will still have service.

As for 2700, this is prophesied to happen on the last day.

Eze 6:8 Yet will I leave a remnant, that ye may have [some] that shall escape the sword among the nations, when ye shall be scattered through the countries.

Mic 5:8 And the remnant of Jacob shall be among the Gentiles in the midst of many people as a lion among the beasts of the forest, as a young lion among the flocks of sheep: who, if he go through, both treadeth down, and teareth in pieces, and none can deliver.

Joe 2:32 And it shall come to pass, [that] whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.

Jer 31:1 At the same time, saith the LORD, will I be the God of all the families of Israel, and they shall be my people.

Most of them are still lost to even themselves and are now considered gentiles. How could they be called j ish when they do not even know who they are and were scattered before Christ was born? Very few of them were left in Samaria.

As for the purpose of the trib.

Eze 20:37 And I will cause you to pass under the rod, and I will bring you into the bond of the covenant:

Eze 20:38 And I will purge out from among you the rebels, and them that transgress against me: I will bring them forth out of the country where they sojourn, and they shall not enter into the land of Israel: and ye shall know that I [am] the LORD.

Rev 7:14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

If things get worse and I gotta provide for people, even people I don’t like, how’s that not being like Jesus? I got a lot of $ in food to help those I don’t even like. They rely on me. I’m an example. How can I not like them? They’re disrespectful and mean. How can I do this? Spirit showed me to do so. How am I “in the wrong” OP?
