The law on the books is $7.50 maybe, but what is the minimum wage that is paid at the businesses? I never forgive and I never forget I am a licensed firearm holder. User ID: 76340841 United States 11/22/2022 08:23 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | We stopped at BK after shopping one night and just bought some burgers, no fries, no drinks (we don't drink pop anyway) and gasped at the price, yeah, no we won't be doing this anymore. When I worked and didn't have time to cook dinner (OT) I would pop into the grocery store on way home and buy a premade chicken, salad, sandwich, whatever --- cheaper than fast food or if you're not picky, a frozen TV dinner, burrito, or pot pie is still less expensive than eating out. Doesn't take that long to nuke if you're tired. I wouldn't want to eat the prepared stuff on a daily basis though, and no way could I stomach fast food on a daily basis, but I do know of people that don't cook hardly at all and one couple has 2 kids and they order in/out A LOT, I don't know how they afford it. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 84663532 United Kingdom 11/22/2022 08:27 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I made Burritos. Not sure the cost. Spent probably £40 +. Them probably another £10. More cheese. More pico de gallo and another jalepeno ready made condiment. Another sour cream. Then the final burritos. No enchillida sauce. No lettuce. No pico de gallo. No sour cream but just added some slaw, cheese and jalepeno condiment ( weird like a baked potato ) The last burrito dosent have anything. No cheese. No jalepenos. No pico de gallo. No lettuce. No encilada sauce. No sour cream Just some spare jalepeno condiment. Might try reducing cost with beef stock concentrate instead of a fresh beef stock. So theres more enchilada sauce. Can freeze and slice from a dual block, to heat. Id pay £9 in comparison to takeways. Provided it were as nice ( even if they reduced cost ) If I were richer and money is more meaningless. A city bod buying burrito. £13? Thats with same but probably better ingredients ( beef etc ) Plus having to pay swanky waiters. Plus bills for a massive area including aquarium etc. Maybe £15 +. |

Burritos are still holding the line around 10 bucks... a good deal by Bidenflation standards. for ten bucks you could produce your own superior mexican dinner rather than one cheap burrito It would cost about 50 bucks because I am not going to spend an hour grilling chicken, making guacamole (which doesn't keep) and cutting veggies just for one fucking burrito. I would make a bunch and then eat it over the week... but sometimes you just want a burrito and that's where restaurants come in. I don't eat out often but if I do I'm not stooping to fast food tier. I have had it up to here with you constant whining you mommy basement dwellers, deadbeats and youngsters. Grow the fuck up. I will finish eating my lobster tail for lunch that I paid 7 bucks for at the grocery store and my large shrimp ring for another 8 bucks while pussies keeping eating that shit. |
