Why is this important?

Because fallen angels will pretend to be Jesus to fool you.

The Bibles says that the Father commands the angels of heaven to worship the Son.

Jesus was worshiped while here on earth, and He didn't refuse worship, or rebuke anyone for it.

Aside from the many other indicators in scripture that Christ is God (come in the flesh), that's good enough for me.

To embrace our God became a human and that he had all the emotions we have. Yes God too. But human also. Fully God. Fully human. He can relate not only on a God level but also as a human. With sympathy and empathy.

Do you know how humbling all of this is. To understand God died for us. Cried like we cry. Laughed like we laugh. Great sorrow. Great amazement.

It’s amazing to think about. That he would do that for us. That he would love us like that.

When you embrace Jesus as God:

Yes we will still have trials and tribulations. And there will be suffering. But when we silent our minds and look at God within us we can stay calm and have peace. And Jesus is the way to this. It’s he who opens doors for our salvation. It’s he who calms the seas of our mind. It’s he who directs our life for his purpose and glory. And sometimes he doesn’t answer us when we want an answer. But please still Trust him. He will answer. Just on his time. We just need to trust him. There is much going on he doesn’t want to burden some of us with. And others he will tell everything to. We all have a different purpose but the same goal. That goal I believe is to serve God faithfully and true.

I have made many threads all about faith and God. Not debating theological points but just explaining love and Jesus and what I believe he asks from us. How to grow in faith. How to stay strong. I gave some suggestions. The best I could.

In my opinion, one shows their faith by living out Jesus teachings

It’s simple

Jesus said love others as I have loved you this is how they will know you are my disciples. Pray for your enemies. Bless those who curse you. Offer peace. Loan without interest. Very simple teachings really.

If we love others, Jesus can be made known to them through this love we show

Also faith isn’t based on what we do. It’s based on our acceptance of Jesus redeeming sacrifice on Calvary. Accepting his salvation for us. That his blood covers us. That we are his.

We rest on nothing but this. Jesus blood. And that Jesus died and rose again.

That is my testimony at least.

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to sound like I was attacking you, as i wasn't.

I appreciate your threads, and this one too. I guess I just got frustrated as rarely anything good comes from this topic or the rapture one.

I hate to see people wasting more time arguing about it than Christ's teachings because, honestly, there is scripture to support both and I waffle. I simply fall back on what I think is most important-As you said the teachings of Christ and how to please The Father.
