I was a young girl in the 60s. Moms were home and the world was fine for me, All the kids were out in the neighborhood from after breakfast and came home for lunch and dinner in the summer but hanging out and having fun was encouraged. We had chores at home but had freedom. No cameras watching our every move. We learned so much about life and things that would help us through the older years from each other which was passed down from our parents and the kids that came before us. Those were truly the golden years though my mother would say the 50s were the best years. She was 15 when she was pregnant with me which was rare in those days.

I noticed a weird change when I was around 12 or 13 but things got really weird when Clinton became president. I knew a bad change had come. Tried to warn people but they wouldn’t listen.

People just don’t want to learn from those who came before them. We see things they can’t see because they lack the same perspective but younger generations always believe they know everything.

Music was best 1964 to 1974. By far. Then came disco, then came watered down 80s crap and rap.

If you grew up in the 60s or 70s, the 80s sucked.

I was a 90s kid so early dial-up and playstation was my thing, I didn't have a care in the world. The president got a blowjob from an intern and that shit was hilarious.

A friend of mine referenced NKOTB the other day and it took me a while to realise who he meant. Didn't know they used the initials like that.

I had a massive crush on Blondie as a teenager. Wow, she got my juices flowing.

I also love 'Think we're alone now...'.

If I could time travel I'd go back to the 80s for defo.

In my opinion the beginning of the 80s was good musically, but I've always been a hater of the whole hair band thing that started showing up and by the mid 80s became a thing.

To me it started to suck when the scrawny little petite dudes in tight pants, teasing their hair, and wearing eye liner or something started coming on the scene. And as the 80s wore on the whole girlie makeup thing just got worse and worse, with them actually wearing lipstick and the whole shebang.

I remember me and a couple friends scoping out a Poison album of another friend and sarcastically fucking with him about how they "looked better" then most women. This was at a time where you definitely weren't seeing regular everyday dudes wearing makeup. And if you did, they would've got the shit kicked out of 'em.
