I saw a lot of live shows in the 1970s, and they all sounded like shit compared to their studio recordings, maybe with the exception of crappy sounding groups like the Rolling Stones that didn't do as many studio manipulations of their music.

Today's music is mostly computer generated, with almost no musical talent, with an occasional talented singer or guitarist.
