We are all human. We all have faults. We all fall short. We also have the spark of God in us.

God visits those he is spiritually intimate with. His Spirit hovers right above our waters nearby till we are ready.

That's where Jesus Christ comes in and says, hold a minute and listen, I knew you would fall in love and it's OK, I have a plan.

God must really love us to wait so long alone till we are ready.

OP, very much agree we all should do our best to have love for oneself, for others, and for everything.

The challenge we set for ourselves and the adventure we came here for is to see if we could go from being separated from God and return to being in Oneness with God through love.

To learn to choose love, we need both knowledge and wisdom. Knowledge comes from learning, and wisdom comes from experiencing. Both are needed to help us solve the puzzle of who we truly are and why we are here.

You mentioned we all have a spark of God in us. From a slightly different perspective, we are all expressions of God. There is truth to this and it conveys that we are magnificent beings, not born here as lowly and unworthy sinners and not born here to suffer.

We purposely dumbed down ourselves spiritually while in the human form here to see if we could return to unity and alliance with God by choosing love.

Why is love so important? Love is not simply just an emotion, rather it is the most powerful highest vibration multi-dimensional quantum energy in the universe.

Love is the key to unlocking many extra ordinary benevolent abilities that we all have as humans.

And when we do unlock those amazing abilities, we could better assist with bringing paradise to this young dark world, in contrast to some teachings that instill a yearning to leave this harsh world and go to paradise.

Is it then any wonder that all spiritually advanced human messengers throughout the ages all taught us a way of living life that aligns with sincere love?

The caring and compassionate God is pure love at an immensity that would be unbelievable to us. God loves all unconditionally and equally.

Our true nature is pure love, not the false nature that is the ego.

Connect the dots only if one wishes to do so.

Jesus is the Christ but his Father was not the God of the old testament. It's not hard to understand once you just pause and understand the real reason for the New Testament.

Christ never supported the God of the Old Testament if you slowly read it.

The law doesn't save because it can't.

Christ is the manifestation of the Father of more than this world or universe. A being beyond comprehension. The OT God is jealous, angry and has a bad temper and he admits it clearly. Does that sound like perfection to you?

Judgment Day

Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. The earth and the heavens fled from his presence and there was no place for them. And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as was recorded in the books. The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and Death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what they had done. Then Death and Hades were thrown into the Lake of Fire. The Lake of Fire is the second death. Anyone whose name was not found written in the Book of Life was thrown into the Lake of Fire, for nothing impure will ever enter the Kingdom of Heaven, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.

Obey the teachings of Jesus

While Jesus was still speaking a bright cloud covered them and a voice from the cloud said, This is my son whom I love. With him I am well pleased. Listen to Him! For I did not speak on my own, but the Father who sent me commanded me to say all that I have spoken. I know that His command leads to eternal life, so whatever I say is just what the Father has told me to say. I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them. Anyone who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to my Father who sent me.

The will of my Father

Enter through the narrow gate for wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow is the road that leads to eternal life, and only a few find it. Not everyone who says to me, Lord, have mercy on me, will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father in Heaven, which is to love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. The second is like it, love your neighbor as yourself. All the law and the prophets hang on these two commandments, so in everything, do to others as you would have them do to you.

Love your enemies and do not lust

I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you so that you may be children of your Father in Heaven. Do not resist an evil person. If anyone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to them the other cheek also. If you forgive other people when they sin against you, your Heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins. I also tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully already has committed adultery with her in his heart. At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will become like the angels in Heaven.

Repent, deny yourself and take up your cross

Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me, for whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it. What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul? Those whom I love, I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest and repent. Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me. Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you, for everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.

The righteous will shine like the sun

Do not be afraid of those who can kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the one who can destroy both the soul and body in hell. As the weeds are pulled up and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of the age. The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will weed out of his kingdom everything that causes sin and all who do evil. Sins in the Book of Revelation, chapter 21 and 22

It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water without cost from the spring of the Water of Life. Those who are victorious will inherit all this, and I will be their God and they will be my children. But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. sexual immorality = lust = sex for pleasure
eating of food sacrificed to idols = eating animals = murderer

The wolf will live with the lamb

Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the Kingdom of Heaven, where the wolf will live with the lamb. The leopard will lie down with the goat, the calf, the lion and the yearling and a little child will lead them. The cow will feed with the bear, their young will lie down together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox. The infant will play near the cobra’s den, and the young child will put its hand into the viper’s nest. They will neither harm nor destroy on all my holy mountain, for the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.

Plants and fruits will be yours for food

I give to you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. Then the angel showed me the river of the Water of Life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the Tree of Life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. Do not eat animals

For if you do, on Judgment Day, Jesus will ask you this question. "How can you expect me to grant you eternal life when you are a destroyer of life?" To which you will have no answer.

The foolish man, led astray by the ancient serpent

Whoever hears these teachings and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who has built his house on sand. For his heart has become calloused, he can hardly hear with his ears and has closed his eyes. Then Jesus will say to those on His left, Depart from me you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the Satan and his angels, the ancient serpent who leads the whole world astray.
